Defective product - cap,

"The inner and outer lining on the Stocking cap were not connected. The inner and outer lining seperates and the cap barely stays on your head. After one hunt in Wyoming, I returned the cap for my money back. This is the only Cabelas merchandise that I have ever returned due to a defect."

"I like this cap. It is warm confortable and windproof. You need to know that you cannot toss this into a washng machine to get it clean. Let it soak over night in warm soapy wanter , rinse it very gently or let it soak in clean cold water then let it dry out while sitting flat"

"I got this cap to work outside - big error. It doesn't fit well (no matter what size head you have.) Mine developed a hole the first day. Since the liner is not sewn in, it tends to move around - not a good thing. Basically not a quality item. This is the only thing I ever ordered from Cabelas that was not top notch. They are the best outdoor company - bar none! Just not this particular item. A C- MINUS ."

"This hat is very warm and would appear to fit a variety of sizes. Seems to wick away the sweat quite well too. The only improvement I can recommend is to sew the two layeys together so when you take the hat off, it doesn't turn completely inside out. All in all a very good product. A+"

"My head didn't get wet, that's about all I liked. The knitting is flimsy and has already snagged several times. The liner does not strecth much so it feels odd on your head. I had to constantly stick my hand in the liner to re adjust it back to the top of the hat."

"The first year i wore this product it was great. But the next year i washed it which caused the insulation and gortex to gather at the top. I was pretty mad but dealt with it. I havnt been able to fix it though so i plan on sending it back. All i can say is that they should sew the insulation and gortex in. Other than that it was a great hat."

"I tried on the hat for the first time and the Gortex liner instantly ripped. I am 6' tall, not that big. I called Cabellas and reorderded the unlined version. I was very satisfied how they handled the situation. They said I do not need to return the ripped hat and they mailed me the new one plus a refund for the difference immediately."

"Well, this is the first experience of mine wearing a gore-tex wool pull-on hat and in a way this design is unique for my country (have never seen a hat like this with a membrane in it). I am sure it woud work just fine in the wet snowfall weather.
I have only put four because it is a bit bulky and hence looks a bit strange on the head."
