"Very Very impresive work by edge with this decoy. I just got the drake in the mail today and couldnt be happier. Flocked head, LIGHTWEIGHT, and easily portable. Set it up in the back yard with the wind blowin at about 5mph and the wings started flappin. I think this would be a duck attractin machine with wind at about 10-15mph. For those of you who have this or plan on getting it, go to your local sporting good store and pick up and extending golf ball retriever, one with a metal scooper on the end. I broke the scooper off mine and now use the pole as the decoy pole. The pole extends from 5ft to 20ft in a matter of twisting and pulling. spray painted the pole black and there i got an height changing mount pole. Very good product. You wont be disapointed with this one. I plan on getting the hen and another pair next year.

"got this decoy and was surprised to find that the drakes head is flocked. the discription says the body is made of tyvek and the wings made of ironhide fabric, as far as I can tell it's all made of tyvek wich is fine with me tyvek is tough stuff. I have not had a chance to use this yet but in the back yard it seems to have some really good movement. Thinking about buying one more drake and a hen to finish off my spread."

"The first morning we used the duck magnet we set it up on a 6 foot pole in a river and ducks came in to land underneath the decoy! We have the drake, which has a life-like flocked head. The decoy looks cheap, but is proving to be very durable. Throw a sock over the head to protect the flocking."

"This decoy looks great in light to moderate wind and in heavy wind it moves like crazy. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is that (as mentioned in other reviews) the decoy will come off the conduit when the winds get up. I used a pin through the conduit and tied it to the decoy to keep it from sliding up the post.
We were duck hunting this weekend and had plenty come in close, but the geese seemed to love it even more than the ducks. We had about 5 flights come in and land within 10 feet of the Mallard magnets. (maybe 20 yards from the blind) they worked so well i am going to buy some of the goose magnets for the up coming canada season. we even had a flight of geese try to land on us while we were in the water picking up the deeks..... they better look out next weekend"

"Overall the duck magnet looks good and functions well. The drawbacks are: the decoy will come off of the stake in a high wind gust and it doesn't FLOAT! I think with some modifications to the stake and head attachment, a cotter pin, the decoy will work great. The movement was good with good wing action."

"I bought this product almost as an afterthough; something to make up the order and likely to be of little use. How wrong was i! The kit comes in 2 parts which are assembled very easily and in just a few seconds. The cloth type wings and main body is both durable and a dull matt type print - so no glare probs. The head is highly detailed and underneath there is a hole in which to mount the decoy on a pole. I use it by mounting on a pole and placing it just below my floating decoys. The wings flap great in the lightest of winds and are very realistic. At the end of the day you can take it off the pole, fold the wings and toss it into your decoy bag and forget about it. Excellent product that'll last you many seasons and effortlessly brings much needed movement to your pattern."
