Hunting in comfort,
October 12, 2009
By Swampcollie
from IL

"For years I sat on a upside down 5 gallon pail in the duck blind, not this year. This seat was comfortable enough for me to sit on all opening day. It also seals the bucket nicely to store shells or other equipment to keep them dry. Well worth the price."

"The bucket seat worked great. Fit standard buckets left over from work. Spinning seat was real advantage looking for dove from all directions. Molded handle on seat is also an advantage."

Comfortable, quite, and spins freely......... just made of very thin plastic."

Silent Spin Bucket Seat,
February 17, 2009
By wildperch
from Upstate, NY
|
"I liked the Silent Spin Seat cover so much I bought a second one. It fits over joint compound buckets and 5 gallon paint buckets just fine. It will not, however, replace the seat on a bucket system. Just take cloth cover off and use it on a paint bucket. So far this winter it has worked great, even in the extreem cold."

bucket seat a boon,
February 4, 2009
By JiminTFMT
from Thompson Falls MT

"The fact this fits 5-gallon buckets has made my photography of wildlife in snow and cold a lot more enjoyable. And it can be removed and used on the ground to aid in lower-level, less obtrusive imaging of waterfowl and small yard birds."

Does the job,
December 13, 2008
By Ratherbehuntin
from Farmington, NY
|
"This is not a bad seat but it seems cheaply built. Im going to need to be carefull with it in cold weather so the plastic dosent break. The pivot is not very smooth but gets the job done. Nice and light too. Can be used on the ground if needed. For occasional use in a blind it should last fine."

Silent Spin Seat,
December 9, 2008
By willy39
from Quad Cities
|
"I have read some of the reviews and frankly could not find any serious problems with this seat. Some said it was noisy so I squirted some white lithium grease between the top and bottom section of the seat and have had no noise problem. As to the ease of carrying it, cut off the handle on the seat and use the handle of the bucket you put it on. Works great."

Great buy!,
November 19, 2008
By kyote1
from Glenarm, IL
|
"I wasn't sure when I bought this how good or "silent" it would actually spin, but it does great! I use this for everything from ducks to deer hunting. It is great for storage when you clamp it on a bucket and keeps everything inside dry. While hunting last week, I had a deer sneek up behind me at about 30 yards. I was able to quietly spin right around without the deer ever noticing a thing, it performed great! Unfortunately the deer never presented me with a shot though lol! I feel this is a great buy though! It is well worth buying, especially at the low price."

camo spin cover for 5 gallon bucket,
October 14, 2008
By MADSWK
from I live in Indiana, but within 3 miles of Illinois

"It is comfortable, but it is noisy. Also, if the floor of your blind is not level, you feel like you are always trying to steady yourself. I shot off the bucket in the backyard, but it is a hole different animal in the woods. I have a couple of different folding camp stoles for my blinds and they work good. Also, if you try to carry the bucket by the handle on the seat, it keeps popping off. I may try putting a couple of drops of crazy glue on the bucket before I pop the seat on. I think they would be okay for dove hunting."
