"I use the texas rags for hunting in Saskatchewan, I am very impressed as to how well they hold up in the weather. For every 100 5% get destroyed. But that doesnt matter when you use 800 LOL The ones that get destroyed just lay them on the ground and it still brings in the geese."

"The rags were very inexpensive (60 cents a decoy) and easy to assemble. Just a little wind fills em up. Worked great on opening day. They bring in all sorts of birds from a distance just as well as spinning wing decoys."

By Fowlhunter81

"Had these out the other day in 30+ mile per hour winds and they held up pretty good and brought the geese in close enuf to shoot. The only thing is what a pain to tie up if I were to buy more "and i plan on getting more" I would buy the ones already put together."

Texas Rag decoys,
November 28, 2008
By HuntWashingtonState

"Initial prep of the rags took a lot of time, but, after we figured out how to get them set up in the field correctly and to adjust for wind. The movement and the look was great. I highly suggest that if you are using them for the first time, set them up in your backyard for a couple of days first to get the feel for how the weather the wind and your stakes. You don't want to be messing around with them while you are actively hunting."

great for numbers,

"These decoys are very cheap and you get a bunch. After about seven hunts i have had about five break most of them were because of the rod though. I have only had one rag tear so far but if you don't want to put 100 rags together yourself I would advise buying preassembled ones I had to have my uncle show me how to put them together a couple times to get it right."

"Awesome, these rags worked very well. They were very easy to assemble and setup in the early mornings. They looked great all day as the wind blew them around, looked better than my friends more expensive decoys."

"While hunting water fowl in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana adding Texas Rags to my spread has gave birds the confidence in numbers and movement. I have had succes in 30+ mph winds. In early season for ducks and killing snows in March, Texas Rags puts birds on the ground."

A Great Addition,
February 22, 2007
By thathunterguy
from Quill Lake, SK
|
"Texas Rags make an excellent addition to any spread. Although the wariest snows might be a little reluctant to drop into a spread of only rags, a good mix with big-foots or shells make the rags a great way to add a little movement and turn a hundred-bird spread into a thousand with very little effort. They are a nessecity to any successful early season hunt and a few hundred at least are a great addition to any spread."

"WE SLAUGHTERED THEM IN CANADA! VERY DURABLE, WITHSTOOD 15-20 MILE AN HOUR WINDS. EXTREMELY LIGHT CONSIDERING THE NUMBERS YOU CAN BRING IN THE FIELD. THE BIRDS CAME RIGHT IN NO PROBLEM. YOU NEED TO ADD THESE TO YOUR SPREAD"
