"This item was installed correctly per the rather vague instructions. After installing the action was decidedly "stiff" and difficult to operate. The device appears to force the slide assembly out of alignment and cause drag. The device has been removed and the original forend assembly reinstalled. The action now operates smoothly. I am very surprised and disappointed.

"Ive used the ATI pistol grip forend, along with many other forends, but as far as PISTOL GRIP forends go, i think this is the best one, i used this in conjunction with the Hogue Pistol grip which is also the most comfortable out of the many stocks ive used. This item i recommend if used with the Hogue Pistol Grip."

"Picked up for a old Winchester 1200. Fits perfect,Looks as if its actually part of the gun. (Doesnt look cheap.) Comfortable for quick load outs.
Picked it up with tacstar pistol grip also for this 1200 and both work great, I am about to buy more tacstar...

"this forend grip is very comfortable with a nice wide backstrap and nice contours. The only draw back is that it is a pretty tight fit and can be a little difficult to install. Well worth it though!"

"I purchased this as I haverestrictive movement of my left shouder and cannot proprly hold the forepiece ofa weapon and must let it rest on top of my fist. This allow me to have much greater control of the gun and properly hold the pistol grip. I have much bettr control and my accuracy has improved greatly. I still have a difficult time being able to pump a pump shotgun. I would like to see them expand the line to include a similar unit for automatic shotguns."

"I installed the forend grip on my Mossberg tactical shotgun. The instructions were sketchy at best. When I went to operate the action, the grip came loose. I couldn't see any way to secure it to the gun. It looked nice, but the mechanics not so much."

"I installed this forend grip in conjunction with the Tacstar rear pistol grip, and together they make a decent pair for a tactical shotgun. One of my complaints about this product is the low manufacturing quality, which was also a problem with the pistol grip (untrimmed mold lines down the center, and some slight warping). It did not harm the function of the rear grip, but it caused the top of the forend to rub along the bottom of the barrel. It was still functional, but there was noticable friction as the slide was operated. It will wear in after awhile, but at the expense of your barrel's finish. If this doesn't bother you, it's a fair buy, and like I said, still functional; It's just not ideal."

"This item is WAY overpriced. It's incredibly cheaply made -- it's hollow, black hard plastic and has gigantic seams left over from the injection molding process. Honestly, this item shouldn't sell for more than $5.
The grip itself is rather large -- perhaps twice the size of the factory pistol grip that came on my Mossberg 500. I'm afraid it might be too large for my wife to grip comfortably, although time will tell."

"A must if buying the six extra shell holder! The standard forend grip hits the addon side shell holder. This was not hard to install with just a little patience. Good directions and tool included to remove and install forend grip. Feels good in the hand and is easy to reload a fresh shell. Looks cool if trying to build a SWAT style shot gun! "I own a Winchester 1300 series 12 gauge shotgun w/ a pistol grip. The TacStar forend grip makes the recoil easier to handle, especially when firing 3" shells. The front end of the gun wants tokick upward, and it's a lot easier to control with the TacStar than holding onto the pump. Installation was simple, and took just a few minutes. The only downside I can see is that the grip seems to flex a bit from side to side. Overall, I definitely recommend this product."
