"Very easy to install, and works. You may have to trim the fore grip as when you pump a shell into the chamber the wooden grip hits and sticks (if you pump hard) on the barrel shroud rear clamps. Use a Dremel tool or similar to correct this problem and the action is smooth. Make sure you remove the barrel when assembling and when trimming the fore grip. before you trim the fore grip re-attach the barrel and mark the grip where it strikes the shroud rear clamps. Remove the barrel again, trim the grip and reattach the barrel."

"After using pliers, the heat shield looks and fits great, but it DOES take patience and a good eye. but this and the side saddle are musts for that nice touch to your shotty. The instructions could be a lot better."

"This barrel shroud made a nice addition to my tactical shotgun (a Mossberg 500A with 18.5" barrel). Unlike a few of the other TacStar products that I have purchased, the manufacturing and material quality are very good. Just be sure that you have a pair of pliers on hand when you install this barrel shroud, as you may have to manipulate the shape of it slightly for certain barrels."
