"This is a great item, I have a pug who got inthe habit at barking at anything and everything!! I put the collar on and it only took one bark, took the collar off that night and he never barked for a least two weeks. Then he let out a little squeak and all I have to do is show him the collar and he quits. I am sure down the road he will need a little reminder shock, but it is a great product!!"

"After a failed attempt with a sport dog bark collar that cost twice as much as this one, my expectations weren't very high. This thing is worth its weight in gold. My yellow lab Maddie hasn't made a peep since I put it on her. Well...maybe one small peep, but thats all it took and she doesn't bark at all anymore. Highly recommended! Thanks Cabelas"

"My dog barks at everything--and he's large so his bark is loud. I've tried citronella, ultrasonic, and yelling but to no avail. One of my neighbors, when coming over to complain (in a nice way) said that the Cabela's dog collar was th only one that worked on her dog who was a chronic barker. I went immediately on line and bought it. My dog barked through the first battery--drained it. Then I replaced the battery and now when he barks and then gets shocked, he shakes his head and keeps barking. I'm at my wits end. I'm sure it's my dog and not the collar, but it was rated poor because it didn't work for us."

"I used this no bark collar on my small dog (Shitzu) and was amazed how quickly it stopped him from barking non stop any time he was left alone. I can honestly say that within a day of using the collar he stopped his bad habit. He seems much calmer when I leave him at home to go to work and much calmer when I get back...not so stressed out. I recommend this item to anyone who has a problem with a dog that barks because of separation anxiety. Cheers!"

"I was skeptical about whether this "no bark dog collar" would keep my Siberian Husky from howling at all hours of the night and day. However, it worked like a charm. We only had to keep the battery in the collar for a couple of days and he hasn't howled or barked since. We thank you and our neighbors thank you, too!"

"Dog collar was effective, worked just like it was described. She was shocked when she barked. Unfortunately, our dog responded HORRIBLY (well, worse than we expected) to it. She absolutely freaked out, jumping, twirling, and ended up jumping the fence. She would bark, get shocked, cry in pain, and repeat the painful process. We couldn't handle it, so we returned the collar for a refund."

"The collar was a bit too large for a small dog. It did fit though. The Dog soon learned that when the collar was off he could bark. I would like to see the collar that has a switch to turn it off, instead of having to remove the batteries."

"Hello. I have 13 labs and have an indoor/outdoor kennel. I live in the country and when they are out at night and see the deer and coon, they go nuts. Well, I could not sleep and I am sure, neither could my neighbors. I bought five collars at first and I am completely satisfied. Now I am ordering five more. I followed instructions. I put them on at 7:00pm and take them off at 5:30am. I have bought many products from Cabella's and if you have any problem, they have an excellent customer service department.

"I recently moved from the country to town and my two hunting dogs really liked to wake up the neigborhood barking. One is a lab which never barked at a whole lot, but the other is a walker coon hound he would howl at almost anything or any smell. After I put the collars on for a week they already stopped barking. I have had them off for a month and then put them back on to remind them. I very rarely hear anything from them anymore."
