"The cabinet was easy to assemble. It is advertised to be for 8 guns but the pads only have slots for 6 guns. It is good for keeping nosey hands away from the guns but is not a very secure safe. The cabinet came with some maring of the paint but enough to bother with sending it back after I had taken the time to assemble it."

"Just as described - solid construction, easy to assemble and sturdy enough slow down anyone wanting to get access to its contents. The top shelf could be deeper to hold more items on the shelf but that would limit the storage of a long shotgun."

"The cabinet was easy enough to put together by yourself, I just wish it came with a complete parts list and all the tools needed. The shelf inside is a little small, even a box of ammo hangs over a bit. The barrel holder is a joke. It's just a piece of foam with tape on the back. The cabinet is sturdy, especially when mounted to a wall."

"I found the cabinet kit in perfect condition when it arrived at my house. All the parts were there and easily identified when sorted.
I found the instructions to be as detailed as they needed to be and still easy to follow. I assembled the cabinet in less than an hour and had it mounted in the basement in no time.
Maybe the top shelf could be a little wider, but I was able to fit my shoulder holster rig with .357 and 2 speedloaders comfortably on the shelf.
I was able to get all of my guns and ammo out of the closet and into some secure storage that the grandkids can't get into."

"I suppose I should be giving this product 5 stars, as it it excellent at being what it is; a cheap gun cabinet that offers basic protection and storage of a limited number of firearms. It showed up with a few scratches, and doesn't fit together quite perfectly (the corners of the cabinet have minor gaps when fully assembled), but all in all it feels sturdy and well built. I feel safer knowing that someone looking to nab my rifles will have a heck of a time trying to get it loose from the closet, and will have quite a chore of lifting a few hundred pounds otherwise."

"My cabinet arrived quickly,no damage or missing items(always do an inventory with the enclosed list).Assembly was easy,just basic handtools.Only thing I had to do was drill different holes in the rear for screws to go into my wall studs(there are holes on the back for this,they just may not line up with all stud spacing out there).It came with the screws,but I used longer ones of my own.The key may be a little stiff going into the lock,just lubricate,and the more you use it,the easier it'll get.Good to have if you have kids.Not bad for the money."

"Received everything in acceptable condition. Had one small dent and lots of scuffs in a side panel. All parts where in package. Was pretty easy to put together, spent maybe an hour or so putting bolts in and tightening them down (keep in mind i was drinking beer too). Top shell was not at all as wide as I thought it would be. Molded barrel rest is really just a foam piece with glue on the back (In the pics it looks like molded plastic).
Over all I would give it a 4. Its just a cabinet. Good for keeping kids and and criminals out of your guns. As it was said ealier this cabinet would only offer a determined criminal a bit of resistance. Either way for the price its a pretty good buy for a little bit of safety and peace of mind."

"I did not expect much, and that is what I got.
Arrived dented, with top panel missing.
Took 2 weeks to get that piece.
Not hard, but tedious to assemble.
OK just to lock up my less important guns, but
next time I would spend a little more for a
better product."

"This cabinet is very easy to assemble. It takes about 1 hour to assemble for someone with just basic mechanical skills. The cabinet has a lot of room to fit your rifles but 8 guns will fit a little too tight in my opinion. If you are placing this cabinet on carpet against a wall, you do need to support the cabinet with straps because the cabinet will tilt forward and possible even fall over depending on how thick and soft your carpet is. Overall this item is great and serves its purpose. The price is good also. This cabinet will keep kids out but will probably not keep a determined adult from breaking in."
