"The comments and reviews were dead on for this product. The shipment arrived with some bent corners that were easily straightened with a pair of pliers. Once assembled, the bent pieces didn't even show. Easy to assemble as long as you follow the instructions and only hand tighten the bolts until all of the pieces are put together. The assembly would be very difficult without a small socket wrench. For the money, a great buy that will keep children out. However, a determined teen with a heavy pry bar could crack this 'safe.'"

"I received this locking cabinet in relatively short time. The cabinet arrived via FedX with no signs of damage. It came assembled except for the shelf and standoffs which were easy to install. It bolted to the wall with out any problems. This locking cabinet is well worth the money."

"I'm giving this five stars because of its value at the price point. This is a nice, solid, basic safe. You're not paying for fire-protection, or carpeted interior, or programable combination lock features--all of which some people might want. But it's solid, bolts to the wall nicely, will hold a good amount of guns (or other items)--it's not a toy at all, I think it would take a jackhammer to get it off my wall and open."

"I got mine about a yr ago and have used it since. For some reason mine arrived fully assembled, but the corner was dinged. I elected to keep it and fixed the ding, but recommend that y ou examine yours very carefully. If I didn't keep mine in a closet I would have returned it. The shelf is annoying for long guns, including 28-inch shotguns, but because it is plastic it doesn't scratch. I kept it in - it's useful and the annoyance is minor - slip the muzzle up past the shelf and the gun will clear. I put a rubber bumber on the bottom door sill (slit a thin rubber hose and glued it on) - this provides added protection against scratches. As you can see it isn't perfect but for a hundred bucks it's about as good as one can get. It own't stop a burglar but it will stop idle mischief and protect your kids."

"Good way to keep all your guns locked up in one place. Can be bolted to floor or wall. The only complaint I have is that because of the top shelf, one of my shotguns didn't fit. I just removed the shelf. Stack-on sells a pistol/ammo cabinet that attaches to the top of this cabinet that I will probably purchase so ammo can be locked as well."

"If you want a cheap safe just to keep your firearms locked up, than this is the safe that you want. However, I would consider this safe to have the minimum requirements and nothing else. A minus in this safe is that it is inconvenient to store long guns because of the top shelf. A plus is that this safe can be very easliy stored to the wall or floor and you can be assured it will not go anywhere. It is an appropriate value for the money you spend on it."

"I have a stack-on 8 gun security cabinet. It was really easy to put together and has a low profile so its easy to keep hidden. It comes with extenders for the barrel rests so you can put scoped guns inside. The shelf on the inside is nice because you can put your pistols or ammo there. Comes with a foam pad to put on the inside bottom of the safe so the butts of your guns don't get damaged. Also comes with screws so you can screw the safe to the floor and/or wall."
