Aluminum deer hauler,September 22, 2009
By Vermontlad0from Greenville, S.C.
"I have purchased many items from Cabela's. They are first class. My latest item (deer hauler) was delivered with a defect at one end of the axle shaft (toggle was bent). My evaluation of a company is how they respond to this situation. I called and received a new deer hauler within days. I exchanged out the damaged shaft and returned the hauler (prepaid). We all know that occassionally, we get an item that for some reason, is received damaged. It happens to all of us but how Cabela's responded, keeps them my # 1 pick for future orders."

Alum-lite Game Cart,September 10, 2009
By GeoffUSMCfrom Cashiers, NC
"The cart was easy to put together and I look forward to using it during the October black powder season. I pulled it around with weight on it and it maneuvers just fine. The only issue is the locks for the wheels will come lose, so It was necessary to tape the latches down. I like the light weight of the cart and how it folds down for easy transport in my SUV. I can also transport my tree stand and pack going into the woods, which takes a lot of weight off my back."

Alum-i-Lite Game Cart for White Tail,January 6, 2009
By PhilMIfrom MI
"Great cart, easy to assemble, sturdy to go through snow, slush, ice, rough country side.
I tried my recent purchase on a large White Tail Buck last week to haul 3/4 Mile last week. It held up very well, and I am very satisfied since without this product holding up to the tough conditions, I could not have retrieved my harvest, without an ATV and I do not own an ATV!
Cleaning this aluminum product was very easy, and the cleanliness after cleanup was evident with the light aluminum metal color. This is a great sturdy and lighter product."

Gone in 60 seconds!,September 23, 2008
By QUARTERMOOSEfrom Montreal, Canada
"Out of the box in 60 seconds, and up and running in under 30. Easy to assemble, looks and feels very sturdy. I can see this cart becoming very usefull hauling my gear in, and game out over walking terrain when I go moose hunting in a few weeks. Looks like it will need some field dressing itself (like camo tape) to soften the metal clunking sounds walking up to the stand. Feels heavier than 23lbs, luckily it's not carried on each trip in/out. Cabela offers excellent and worry free shipping service for over boarder shopping."

Back saver 4 sure,January 8, 2008
By JRwalkinhunterfrom Arkansas
"I pulled a good buck off the mountain (walk-in area only) this year 07. This is the ideal partner to pull along. I pulled the cart, with a hunting stand & a blind loaded on it, up the mountain the day before season and left it hidden in the woods, positive thinking. On day four I pulled the big buck off the mountain. I learned very quickly that the buck needed to be loaded as far down on the cart as possible, otherwise you will be lifting the majority of the load. The straps provided worked well along with my own bungy to strap the horns back to the body and out of the way of limbs, etc... I give it a 4 because of the way the thing is made. I wish that you could lay the deer on there and have a better leverage point. You must put the deer as far down as possible to hit the leverage point, once you get the deer bunched up at the bottom, you are good to go."

Alum-i-Lite Game Cart,January 8, 2008
By klengfrom Rittman, Ohio
"For all you hunters out there. Especially those like myself that hunt alone. This cart worked great for me. Unforunately I have to hunt by myself most of the time. That concerns my wife becasuse she knows that I am not a spring chicken any more. At 50 years of age (still in good shape) it is still a job draggging a large deer out of the woods. This cart made the job much easier on me physically. It was even that much easier when my son was there to help me. With 2 people it is a snap. It is easy to put together (2 minutes) and easy to clean up. The only thing I would recommend is having a couple of bunge cords with you to help hold the deers legs and head in place along with the straps that are included."

"I am pleased with this cart. Great value, and it is very functional for use around the home. I made a hitch for my ATV, modified the handle on the cart, and I now use it behind the ATV for deer and gear."

alum-i-lite game cart,January 7, 2008
By buckshot62from Vancouver Island, Canada
"This cart is all I hoped for in a lightweight deer hauling device. It packs easy, gets put together fast and got the job done when called into action two days after receipt. Good return on the investment already. The only thing I might like different would be tube tires instead of the solid ones as the wheels are as heavy as the rest of the cart. On the other hand, I am sure that, at some point, I will be grateful for the punctureproof wheels as I hunt many different landscape. Overall one of the best hunting piece of equipment I have ever purchased."

great item,November 13, 2007
By deerslayerTNfrom SE TENNESSEE
"i think everyone needs one of these.their is a large national forest near where i live with gates over the logging roads that lead to the good places to hunt.with a 1.5 mile walk its hard enough to get all your things to where you want to hunt, not to mention that big ol buck that you want to bring out along with your stuff.its saved me making several trips in and out of the woods on that lucky day when you want to get home to show off your buck."

Alum-i-lite Game Cart,October 7, 2007
By HunterKYfrom Lexington, KY
"The cart was easy to put together. I have managed to haul a small doe and a large buck out with this cart over some very steep hilly terrain. Where I hunt I hike in several miles. I use the cart to haul my grear in and the deer out. I would suggest two alterations when you get your cart. First apply a liberal amount of grease to the axle before you assemble the cart. This will help to keep squeaks down. Second, the bright aluminum is very shiny and will be easy to see. I'd recommend painting with a flat paint of your choosing and then applying some camo tape to help silence the loading and unloading process when you haul gear on it. Being in my early 50's I am finding it harder and harder to haul deer out. I'm sure that this cart has extended my ability to hunt for many years to come. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating is the spoked wheels could use some type of a cover over the spokes to keep them from getting tangled up in weeds and sticks. Mine has held up well so far but if you get a medium size stick caught in the spokes they will get bent."

Game Cart,June 16, 2007

"I got this for my husband for his 50th birthday. So far it has not carried any game, only our camping gear up and down the trail. It sure saved us quite a few trips though. He can't wait to bring his next deer out of the woods on it."

"This product was better than I expected in a lot of respects. Great engeneering, well put together and light weight. I simply added 2 more small alluminum cross pieces near the bottom to make it easier to carry small items going in to the hunt. I also did a nice cammo paint job on it."

Love It!,April 17, 2007
By GaryJGfrom Marysville, CA.
"I purchased the game cart for Turkey Season. Being a guide I carry a popup blind, chairs for me and my clients and our backpacks. The cart works great! When I get to the site I remove the wheels and fold it up then cover it with grass or camo. I let my clients load their birds on the cart on the way out but they have to help pull it. My only concern was noise, so I wraped the axel with electrical tape and taped any spot that was metal on metal. So far we have set up within 50 yards of the roost tree 3 times and never spooked the birds. Love it! Very sturdy!"

Well made, one design flaw,December 19, 2006
By Whitefishfrom (Northwoods hunter -Manitoba, Canada)
"There are a number of good things about this unit: folds down well, light, sturdy and well-constructed. But, overall, it didn't work for me. The biggest problem is that most of the load ends up in front of the tires ie. on your hands. I hauled out a large deer and found it very tiring. Also, it just doesn't work on uneven terrain (logs, ruts, etc), which is probably too much to expect from any game cart. I found out how tough the unit was after having it tip over about a dozen times!. If it had a longer "tail" to load the animal further back on the wheel, it would be an excellent unit, IMHO."

Alum-i-lite game cart,November 29, 2006
By Adirondackwhitetailfrom Adirondacks and central NY hunter
"Excellent piece of hunting gear. Easy to use with 1 or 2 hunters. Much better than using Deer Sleighs or other gear in most situations. However limited to open or semi open areas, not useable in heavy cover areas, nothing else is either.
Definitely a valued tool for the serious hunter"

By Chiefjk11from I live in Va and hunt the National Forest.
"I ordered a game cart due to getting older. I found the cart to be as promised light weight, easy to handle and easy to store. The cart is easy to transport and put together when you get to where you want to go especially in taking equipment out as well as bringing the game back in. A good deal in my opinion."
