"I purchased 2 of these scabbards and they performed wonderfully. At first the leather is pretty stiff but with anything new it needed some break-in time. We were hunting in SW Montana for that elusive bull elk. Actually within 3 days the scabbard was working smoothly. I was carrying a .300 Win. Mag w/scope and had no problems what so ever. Excellant product and would not hesitate getting another one if need be. I would highly recommend this product to any serious hunter that wants to have the best available protection for their investment in rugged and unforgiving terrain. Well worth it!!!"

"The triple K leather scabbard gun case is an excellent carrier of your precious firearm, particularly for those of you who ride horseback when hunting. Through experience, firearms often times come up missing when hunting on horseback because the common, open ended scabbard has allowed the firearm to slip out while riding in rough, steep terrarin. However, the triple k scabbard has eliminated this dreadful occurence with the introduction of a fully enclosed end with the use of a heavy duty zipper. Not only does this zipper eliminate the opportunity for a lost firearm, it also provides the upmost protection from the elements and persperitation of the horse, as does the superb heavy leather. The only improvement, or change that I may have for this item, though miniscual in significance, is having the zipper close in the opposite direction. I prefer to have my rifle hang from my saddle scope down instead of up due to the off balance the scope puts on a rifle. When connecting the scabbard to the on side of my saddle, and having my rifle scope down, the zipper on the scabbard opens from the bottom, which provides an inconvenience when having to quickly remove my firearm for a kill. Though a minor issue, and more of a personal preference, the triple k leather scabbard is a high quality protective piece of huniting equipment."
