Outstanding Elk Call,

"I went to AZ. in Sept of this year 2009 with my brother in law and he had a archery elk tag. I was the caller and the bulls were going crazy when I bugled with this call. It is as real as you can get with this call. The CD and extra reed was a plus which I put in my backpack when in the bush, you never know when you need the extra reed. In the end He shot a large 6x6 bull @ 30 yards that responded to my calling. I hope everyone has the same luck as we did with this call."

Not for stalk hunting,

"This is bugle sounds great but because of it's overall size I do not recommend it if you stalk hunt for long distances. The thing is huge! If you're a guide or have the luxury to drive around on a private ranch and hunt out of your vehicle (I hunt public land) then this is your call."

Nice but cheap,

"This is a nice sounding call for the price and the novice elk caller. I live in PA and use it to mess around with the Elk here and it works well. This was the best sounding and easiest to use call I tried at Cabela's. The thing a I don't like about it is the second time I used it the tube split up by the mouth piece, which would not let the mouth piece stay in. I did contact Primo's and they replaced it no questions asked but it shouldn't of ripped in the first place. I would recommend this to others that are looking to use it limitedly."

"I recently purchased this call. I have been practicing for about a month off and on. I feel that after about an hour of practice, I was making good realistic bugles. It was very easy to learn how to produce good bugles. You can also use it to make cow calls. The blue latex reed seems to be very durable. They send an extra one with the call but I do not believe that I will need to replace the reed for quite some time. They also send an audio disc on how to use the call. I do not know how you could go wrong with this call and I would recommend it to anyone."

"This call is very easy to use. From the bottom of the growl to the top of the scream it's pure elk!!! If anything it's a little big in size and takes up a lot of space in your pack, but the sound more than makes up for it."

"This is the call that consistently brings in the bulls. It's easy to use and produces the most realistic bugles, grunts, etc. Removing the grunt tube allows you to produce varying cow and calve calls. Comes with spare reeds that fit into the mouth cover."

"Easy to learn to use and very realalistic sounds, even for a novice. Carrying string not great but works. Carefull or you will loose the extra reed that comes with the product. The guys I was hunting with could not believe I had only been using it for 1 week before the hunt."

"I just want to say that I am fairly new to elk hunting and I was impressed how well this call worked. I have hunted them before but never tried calling. I was out archery deer hunting one morning in a new location by the house and spotted a nice 6x6 bull that morning but of coarse the day before the season. So that day I went to Cabela's to by the Terminator bugle. I practiced on the way to work the following morning and was sounding ok to me.
The next morning on the way to work I decided to stop off where I saw the 6x6 2 mornings earlier to give it a try. I cow called for about ten minutes or less with the primos elk girl call, and then let out one bugle. Within a minute I heard foot steps running through the field in front. I peared through the tree that I was behind to see the bull running in my direction not even 60 yards out. It stopped about 35 yards out but I had no clear shot until the bull moved into the opening to the right. A few minutes went by and out he came 40 yards out broadside. I let my arrow fly and made a nice shot. I watched him trot off with my fleching still sticking out of him. He went about 120 yards and bedded down. I watched the whole thing happen untill the end. I walked over to find a nice 4x5 bull. Talk about begginers luck."

"I've used a diaphragm call in the past a lot harder to master.
This call achieves great sounds, and is extremely easy to use.
Within a day or 2 you can sound just like hot mature Bull.
I've only used one weekend During early archery season and had some answers. But the elk were still a week or two away from the peak of the rut. I'm going back to hunt again this week. I Will try it out again this week when the rut should be in full swing. I guarantee you will sound like a bull bugling within a short time. This is the best sounding, and simplest to use bugle call on the market."

"Well old Will Primos conned me into trying his Terminator Elk bugle with all those Truth videos -- I have to say I'm duely impressed with the ease of use,my 8 year old grandson has mastered the basics that's how easy it pipes.I really like the simple reed design,it's almost too difficult to screw up a bugle with the system.I've usd Glen Berry's bugle for as long as I can remember but this Fall I'll have the Terminator playing the tunes -- it just sounds totaly Elk ,big or small it it plays a deadly note."
