Great Bag,

"My Dad had a few of these made up years ago. (Only bigger) We used them for deer, elk, and an occasional beef cow. My two brothers and I drew out for the general season deer hunt this year and I couldn’t remember how many bags we had. My dad passed away three years ago so I couldn’t ask him. I found this bag on the Cabela’s website and decided to give it a try. I ended up being the only one to harvest a deer and we used the new bag. Worked great and I especially liked the tie strap at the top. My brother even commented “Wow, there’s even a way to tie it up, no need for clothes-pins”. Since this on may be a bit small for a large elk, I plan to use it for a pattern and have my mother in-law make a larger one, tie strap and all.

"Just what I was looking for. We used a smaller type last summer to haul black bear out of a swamp but it wasn't quite heavy enough. We did get the job done. That won't be a problem with this one it is built alot heavier. Great for hauling decoys out to."

"This is a good bag for the money for sure. I hunt in an SUV so it's great when having to put inside my vehicle. Did not leak so that's a plus. Was plenty big enough for the deer."

"When I was a young kid my mother would make our game bags now that she is gone I have to buy them. I bought two heavy duty game bags from Cabelas this year. We harvested two nice California bucks last weekend and the Cabelas bags worked great yellowjackets could not eat through the thick bags. Washed them hung them out to dry no rips or holes. Forgive but I have to say it JUST LIKE MOM USE TO MAKE."

"For some reason, a lot of people like smaller bags but I am not one of those people. The deer I bag out here in California are black tails and are probably considerably smaller than what many are bagging throughout the rest of the country. I like a bag that I can wrap around the whole deer and gambrel and secure it at the top to keep the bugs out. This bag allows me to do just that."

"This product has it's pro's and con's it's great for keeping the animal clean but depending on the size of the animal it can be very difficult to get it in to the bag. But overall I was happy with it."

"I purchased a heavy duty deer hauler and with it came a heavy duty game bag @ no cost to myself. On opening day of our gun season i was able to bag a very nice 9 point. At my young age of 64 & the type of land i hunt in, alot of up's & down's, i was very happy that i had made this purchase. The use of the hauler saved me alot of work, very easy to use, the game bag was like a gift from heaven, my deer was clean inside & out by the time i arrived home. I would fully recommend this to everyone. Thank's Cabela's"

"when i was hunting for deer on a early hunt i got a deer and i gutted him and skined him and put it in the bag and it keeped it fresh until i got home the next morning so that is why i gave it a 5 star"

"It is to big. It look like it would cover a whole deer from the head down (if you cut off the legs). I plan on cutting mine in half and using it for elk and deer quarters. Heck, it was free with the game hauler. Paul"

"I purchased an Extra Heavy Duty Game Bag this fall because I was going to hunt out of state, in an area with a high number of ticks. I drive a station wagon, so putting a deer in there that is covered with ticks is a bit, well, it is not a good thing! The Game Bag has worked great! To my knowledge all ticks have stayed in the bag, and the bag has held up great to washing as well.
If you dont own a truck I would highly reccomend Extra Heavy Duty Game Bags"
