broke first time!,July 7, 2008
By VTMTfrom Northeast Kingdom Vermont
"I bent it all up the first time I used it and never did get my Jeep out with it. But Cabela's sent me a new one which is nice. I really do not think that it is very strong. My Jeep was not really stuck deep in the snow. It is just nice to have just in case I need it again. I just hope that it works! Cabela's was really cool about sending a new on and make me want to only use Cabela's as much as I can. The customer service was great!"

Great 2-ton puller (poor instructions),April 8, 2008
By NWBuilderfrom Olympic Peninsula, WA
"Although this item is featured in the ATV/Auto catalog, I bought it because a 60-foot tree hung up when I cut it down (in the woods & away from power) and needed something to pull it down with. This is a very good piece of gear - made in the USA for a change (Michigan) - but the instructions are very poor. It's not hard to use - I just hadn't used one before and following the instructions made no sense. Once a friend showed be the simple way it operates, all went well. Easy to use when applying tension and easy & safe to use when releasing the tension one notch at a time."

Power Puller,February 4, 2008
By MNDOHIOfrom Ohio
"I purchased this for deer season. It worked pretty well but was a bit of a handful when I went to lower the deer . It didn't work fluently, there was a bit of jerking. For the price, it's a good deal, it held the weight of the deer no problem and serves the purpose."

Power Puller,November 20, 2006
By JoeDirtfrom Collierville, TN
"For the price- You get the puller and a nice hard plastic case. The puller is fairly easy to use. The handle is a little tough on the hands (rubber handle is very thin).
The unit is very powerful, yet to let the load down, it takes some effort to get the spring loaded latch to work.
