So far, so good ...,
October 19, 2009
By Braulio

"Purchased to keep my tootsies toasty in motorcycle boots during cold Northeast rides. Have used 2x so far (w/light sock liners, in low 40 degree F. weather) and results have been very promising: warm toes, yet no swamp foot. More rides and lower temps to come ..."

hot feet,

By wannebe

"I never thought that I would ever say "these socks might be to hot" for me. Very comfortable, lite and eliminates bulky socks with oversized boots. Wished they were longer, 3/4 inches higher on the leg would have been perfect. Great socks. Will buy a spare or two."

"I have been using these socks for three seasons now THEY ARE GREAT. I fly fish the eastern Sierras, cal. on all the streams and the waters are very cold. wear them under my wading boots and my feet stay warm, not dry they arent meant for that. they seem to be holding up very well I do alot of stream walking to find my good holes, my feet never get soar, but do get wet."

Performed well,
September 9, 2009
By SalmonRiverrunner
from Boise
|
"I ordered these socks for a week long river expedition on the Salmon River in Idaho. They perfectly complimented my river sandals. Your feet will get wet, but the water is warmed by your body heat so they are very comfortable. I used them in water that was about 55 degrees. They got daily use for a week and worked very well."

"Wet wading through mountain streams was a bit more comfortable in the neoprene socks. Not waterproof, but like a wetsuit they trap a bit of warmth."

They work just fine,
June 15, 2009
By frsm2b
from Fresno, CA

"They do a good job of keeping my feet warm when in cold water which was the intent. They are not waterproof and are not supposed to be to my understanding. I've only worn them once and I wore them with thin liner socks as instructed and they kept my feet warm."

Excellent outdoor sock,
May 19, 2009
By NWNative
from Oregon
|
"The first pair made it nearly ten years before developing a hole in the heal but for the money you cannot beat these. Easy to put on and they keep you feet dry and warm. One application I discovered was using them to mow the yard. Socks just would not stay put inside my rubber boots and I would have to take the boots off to adjust the socks 3-4 times (big yard). Of course under these conditions your feet will sweat but no running water when you take them off."

Neoprene Socks,
May 14, 2009
By LongCaster
from Pennsylvania
|
"I see a lot of reviews stating that these socks do not keep your feet dry. I truly hope these folks did not purhcase them for this purpose as they are not designed to keep water out. That is not what they are intended for. These socks are to be worn inside a pair of wading boots with the understanding that water will in fact seep inside and the neoprene rubber will actually trap a layer of water against the skin allowing it to warm, similar to a diver's wesuit. These socks can also to be worn inside of a pair of waders where they will, in fact, stay dry assuming the waders do not leak. Still another use for these socks is inside a pair of regular boots for added warmth in cold weather (i.e. hiking, ice fishing). In the last two "dry" scenarios above, starting with a good "liner sock" next to the skin will help wick moisture away from your foot and help eliminate that sweaty feeling. Please understand the intended purpose of these socks before buying."

good value,
May 11, 2009
By Harlto
from Colorado Springs, CO
|
"Sturdy, well fitting(large for size 11 men's), and comfortable. Recieved within 3 business days of ordering.
Use them like slippers. I have dry feet and use them to keep the lotion on the skin not the floors.
There are basically 3 seams, 1 down the center top, 1 across the front of the ankle, 1 front of calf from the top of the ankle. They aren't noticable in running shoes on a 1 mile hike."

Neoprene Sock,
May 11, 2009
By DonnB
|
"I purchased these for myself and family members for a week-long float trip down the Grand Canyon. They aren't waterproof, but kept our feet insulated none the less. Since the rapids force water up sleeves and pantlegs and any other seam available, we found them to be a good investment to offset the <50 degree water, yet they were confortable when we walked some of the 2 mile canyon trails."
