"Liner is best for "light duty." Use it most with business dress (I have to stand & walk a fair amount) Not as sturdy as I would like - will not last a long time with regular wear for most outdoor activities. Ulitmax 11" liner is far superior for hunting and hiking in 40-80 degree weather."

"I love this product. I actualy asked the sales person in the shoe department which socks would be best to use to keep my feet cool. He said these would be the best as he uses them himself. I tell you what. They worked awsome. My feet felt better than ever with these. I am buying many more."

"These are great. I have several pair. They work great as a liner. For fantastic blister protection when breaking in a new pair of boots, double these liners up and forget regular socks. I've been doing this for years, and no blisters yet."

"The coolmax sock liners are a must-have for damp, cold outback Alaska hunting. Both my sons and I wore these light weight liners under out heavy hunting socks and the difference at the end of the day was tremendous. Our feet were dry and quite comfortable after slogging through miles of Prince William Sound for black bear. The liners dry quickly and are very comfortable to wear with light camp shoes after the hunt."

"I bought these socks to wear with my motorcycle boots in the summer. They seem like they would be great as a liner, but they are a bit thin to wear alone, which I thought I would be able to do. I'm afraid to walk on them without shoes on for fear of quickly wearing them out."

"In the winter of 2006, I decided to try a pair of sock liners. They were wonderful! My feet stayed very warm and dry. This winter of 2007, I decided to buy some more pair; however, the same ones were no longer carried. I have found that these are not quite as warm as the first ones I bought; perhaps that is because they are a little thinner. For this reason, I would not rate them a 5 star. Although I am slightly disappointed in these liners, I have still recommended them to friends/family as they do give much greater warmth than socks alone. My husband wears them with his thick winter socks and he says they keep his feet very comfortable."

"Cabela's CoolMax liner socks are great to use for hiking, but I especially like them for use with my running shoes when doing long treadmill workouts. They are thin, durable, lightweight, and don't seem to slip in use. Their wicking action is extremely effective, so that blisters seldom occur. (Which is the main reason why I use wicking socks.) Most other wicking socks I have tried are much thicker and often bunch up during a long, hard workout. That can cause blisters, especially when running at a fast pace for more than an hour. I find the thin construction and effective wicking action of Cabela's CoolMax liner socks ideal for preventing blisters and "black toe" abrasion bruises that regularly occur with thicker wicking socks. So far, I can honestly say these are the best running socks I have ever used."
