"These socks just do their job. They wick perspiration away from feet and protect feet from wool boot socks. Having comfortable feet is rarely remembered as the high point of a hunt but having sore feet can sure ruin an otherwise memorable day afield."

Perfect Liner for Backpacking,
August 3, 2009
By cbHoo
from Ohio
|
"I have used the polypro liners for backpacking for many years - they are simply the best. I have not found a liner sock any where that is so silky soft and wicks away all of the moisture in my boots. I have never gotten a blister or even a hot spot wearing these liners. I have logged hundreds of miles and they wear a long time."

Size was too big,
February 9, 2009
By Hobie09

|
"I wear a size 13-14 (depending on shoe make) so ordered the appropriate size socks. These were too big in the foot, should have gotten the size smaller. They did OK as a liner, nothing special. Wore them in Anchorage at around +20 degree weather with no issues."

Polypro Liners,

By bassinroger

"I always wear these under my wool socks for a warm and dry foot. With these and wool socks your feet stay very dry and warm. I could not imagine wearing cotton socks in insulated boots. Well worth the money if you are working or playing outside when the weather is not so nice."

liner socks,
December 16, 2008
By tnt82

|
"i thought i would try these to see if it helped keep my feet stay warmer in cold weather. I must say that they definately worked well, as long as you use a high quality wool or sythetic wool brand boot sock. I used them deer hunting here in Iowa this december, temp was 8 degrees with below zero wind chill. I was in stand for 5 hours before my feet started getting a little cold. Went for a brief walk to warm up and was good to go."

Don't Leave Home Without Them,
December 8, 2008
By Mephistopheles
|
"These socks are great as liner socks. I've used them for years on all types of hunts in hot, cold, damp and dry conditions. I've never had a blister develop with these liner socks on my feet. They also work as "driving" socks in the summertime. Use them directly without any other socks, with sneakers. Feet stay cool and dry on long drives."

They keep me blister free,
May 15, 2007
By billyjoejimbob
from Denver, CO
|
"For about 15 years I went with standard white cotton socks inside leather hiking boots for work, hunting, and hiking. After a bunch of blisters with my last set of new boots I heeded a friend's advice and started wearing these liner socks inside wool blend socks made for hiking. What a difference. I've gone many days with soaking wet feet but remained blister free, and these socks keep my feet pretty dry on hot days by pulling the moisture away. The only complaint I have is that the seam along the top of the toes is a bit thick and can be a problem if I don't get the socks aligned just right. I'd still recommend them and I don't go without them."

polypropelene socks for blister free walking,
November 21, 2006
By saintycatfan
from St. Francis, Kansas
|
"I have used these socks for hiking and wading in the streams and mountains of Montana! I have used them to pheasant hunt in the plains of Kansas, and I have never had blister free days walking in the field or wading the stream's. My Montana buddy told me I needed polypropelene socks and I always have had luck with Cabela's products. I ordered a couple pair, and I couldn't be happier! I will always use these socks, and have told many of my outdoor friends to get their own! They won't regret it!!!"
