"They did a nice job. The water was 35 degrees and my feet were never to the point of being uncomfortable. I at first had a extra pair of socks on this was the only time I really was uncomfortable. The blood was not flowing so I took the one pair off and just had the polartec's on and they wehere fine by themselves."

"I use these as wader socks when I go fishing in the early spring, fall, and winter. I fish the beach mostly in NJ, but sometimes in NC as well. They came in real handy when I fished NC this past winter, as they kept my feet warm, and more importantly, didn't slide down when wearing them in my waders. That's a real important feature to me using them with the waders. The only negative I could say is that the seams around the socks of a previous pair came undone. My girlfriend sowed them back up and they're as good as new. So far, the current pair has shown no sign of coming loose."

"These socks are warm and will serve most well. I found the elastic band too tight. They were killing me after 5 hours! I'm hoping they will loosen up a little after a couple more trips or the elastic is comming off."

"This is my second purchase of this product I now have eleven pairs!!. The first was for a moose hunting trip in the Taylor Mountian range of Alaska. These socks perform! They add comfort to any boot, and wear well over the years. I have not found a better fitting more comfortable sock for hunting or cold weather use. I have and will continue to recommend these to any outdoor enthusiast. Thanks for offering quality products!!"

It's like having blankets on my feet. I wear them around the house with slippers. They are my comfy socks.

Polartec 300 sold as Polartec 200,

"These are very good socks. The problem is that they are Polartec 300 packaged and sold as Polartec 200. I know this because they have a thickness of .175 which is the same as the socks sold as Polartec 300. The Polartec 200 socks should measure .125. Polartec 300 socks are very good, it would just be nice to receive the Polartec 200 socks when purchasing them as such. This why I rate them as one star."

"These socks are great for cold weather, inside or out. They are true to size, tightly woven fleece. I wear them outside like a pair of thick wool socks; just loosen the shoelaces a little. I also wear them inside as a pair of sock slippers. Either way, even in extreme weather, my feet stay toasty warm."
