"This parka "seems" to be awesome. I say that because I've only worn it in the house. Reason being is that the Ten Mile Cloth Bibs, that I also bought, are so warm, that I haven't had to wear the parka yet. I'll be hanging onto the parka for those hunts when it's raining or snowing the entire time."

Fantastic in the Northern Wisconsin Cold,February 6, 2009

"I am a tough critic. Therefore, I wanted to give this jacket some time in the woods before giving a review, and I have used the jacket in two seasons now. This past deer season in Wisconsin, opening morning, saw the temperature plummet to -2 degrees for the opener up by where I go. The jacket was simply amazing. Never did I get cold, and trust me, it was cold on my face. We could hear the ponds and lakes in the area making ice, an amazing sound almost like a howling sound. I know the jacket isn't cheap, but I would buy it again and again without hesitation. You won't be disappointed."

"This is a quality piece of kit, providing you just want to shoot stationary in a blind - DEFINITELY too hot for stalking game. Pity it didn't have a removable Thinsulate lining which would result in me giving a higher score."

"nice parka! keeping warm and dry is no problem. the pockets, quality wise, are similar or above other parkas i have owned in the past. regarding the inside waist level pockets, my only reccomendation is the pockets should be solid rather than mesh. the zipper addition is nice. the pull cords, to keep out cold drafts are nice. that feature helps considerably. overall, i am pleased to own this parka."

"Have been looking for a orange camo coat for some time, for some reason they are hard to find in Okc. We had just a little cold weather for opening weekend. This parka was very comfortable and quiet. The inside mesh pockets were handy for my radio, etc... I would recommend this for anytime the temp. drops below 35, and intermitent rain was no problem."

"I used this jacket in the UP of Michigan during deer season in Mid-November. The temperatures were in a range from zero to 30 degrees with rain and snow most of the times. The jacket kept me warm and dry in all weather. In fact in the warmer- 30 degree temps it was too warm. It was quiet while moving thru the woods and was easy to keep clean even when I got mud on it."

"I recently received this item for a gift and have only used these in about 20 degree weather but have had no problem staying warm even when sitting still for a few hours. The material is very quiet and even though I had deer about 15 yards in front of me, I was able to bring up my rifle without them hearing me. I think the pockets were designed well allowing easy access and reducing chances of losing items if falling or leaning over. The zippers had easy to use pull tabs even with cold fingers. I just over 6' tall and the tall jacket gave me enough sleeve length to cover the arms (most sleeve lengths are slightly short). Overall I am very pleased with this item. The only negative on this item is when you walk it creates a quiet fabric rustling which doesn't carry far, but does prevent you from hearing any subtle sounds in the woods."
