"I have owned this coat for many years. I hunt in Iowa where we don't hide in trees or stands. We walk and hunt, or stand when it is our turn. I wear the zip out for walking, keeps me warm without sweating to death. When it is my turn to stand out it the open in the cold I put it together, keeps me warm until the walkers come though. Also have worn it for years ice fishing on a bucket on ponds. I clear snow from sidewalks with the lawn tractor, keeps me toasty, and very visible in blowing snow. Hood is one of the best."

"I purchased the parka and bibs for this years deer hunting. I am a stand hunter and looking for comfort and warmth. It is almost to warm if you do a lot of walking, I carried the parka most mornings on my walk into the woods. The features are perfect, the coat and bibs are a little spendy but i hunt in MN i know i will get many years of service from this set. I am verry pleased with the product LEE"

"I used the coat for the first time this year. The weather was cold and windy most of the time. The only draw back was the elastic bands around the wrists. There were times I would have liked to ventilate the sleeves but was not able to because of the elastic. Elk Hunter"

"This is one of the best hunting parka's I ever have used. Quiet,warm and dry. A little on the heavy side for long treks. My intended use for purchase was for stand hunting and this parka excels in that respect. I will be ordering the bibs to go along with it now that I know how good the parka is. I would suggest this to anyone that is looking for a warm & dry parka. Here in New England one never knows what the weather is next, and this Parka is great insurance for a 67 year old senior."

"This is the warmest coat I have ever had. It fits well and is waterproof. I take it off when I walk to my stand so I won't sweat and then put it back on when I get there. It is a 3.5 mile four wheeler ride to some of my stands and I don't even get cold on the ride."

"I bought this jacket for cold weather hunting and it served the purpose. I would not wear it walking around unless the temperature is below twenty degrees Far. I sweated like crazy walking a half hour into my spot. I would suggest wearing something orange and not putting the jacket on until you've cooled down from walking. Then it works great."

"I bought this coat because I am a true hard core hunter. I only refrain from going out if it is raining. And in Wisconsin we do get rain in our weather during our November Gun hunting. My buddy and I are in our stands by 5 am and don't leave the field until after 5pm. We hunt high in the trees and are subject to any and all weather, after spending the last 3 seasons in a simple standard quilted jacket I decided to upgrade. I typically wear a t-shirt, long sleeved underwear top and woolrich flannel long sleeved shirt. Then add my jacket, hat, maybe a gator if it is really cold. This jacket has reduced me to a single long sleeved t-shirt. Nothing else required! It is quiet and warm, no cold areas, and sheds moisture so well that after my 1+ mile hike into the forest that only my hat is wet with sweat. My only complaint is that it is a bit heavy in weight but with all the gear I no longer wear i believe it is a wash. This year on the weekend of muzzle loader it was -15 with the windshield and I was completely warm in this jacket. I will be buying the bibs to match after christmas!"

"I would have given this a 5 star rating except for the quietness issue. The camo pattern applied to the fabric is not a soft material and you can generate some noise with movement against tree truncks or other hard objects. Plenty good for rifle hunting but if you need to get your quarry within bow range it could be a factor. Still a very good warm dry parka."

"Almost ten years of Deer hunting in Southern NY and the parka and bibs are still 100% water proof and warm. Every zipper and snap continue work perfectly and the elastic is not stretched out. When these wear out I will purchase another set just like them if they are available. I would like to see the addition of a zippered rear cargo/game bag just to carry a few extra items in."
