"i tie them to a bumper...boy does my dog get birdie trying to find the bumper. Also drill a hole in it and tie it to my fly line on fly rod... a great tool to get your pup to point"

"I have two labs one young and one old. I put the wings in the tall grass and let the dogs try to out hunt each other. Great competition. I also atttach them to a dog dummy and let the dogs retrieve it. They love it."

"My hunting GSP won't even look at the wings. She is too smart for her own good and realizes they are "dead". She will only point a live bird. This purchase did not work out well for me. The wings are in good shape .. Cabelas products are great; this one is just not appealing to the dog."

"In order to introduce our young pointing labs to various scents with limited access to field training (actual birds) around the Flagstaff, AZ area; we attached the pheasant wings from Cabela's to canvas training dummy's and have flung them among tall grass on our individual runs/walks. The wings have held up under repeated use and have held their scent as has been apparent by the dogs obvious indications."

Surprised at the poor quality,

"The pheasant wings I recently purchased were terrible! Immediately upon cutting open the package the odor of rotting flesh inundated my home. All of the wings were saturated with the odor. None of them were salvagable. I took them out and burned them. I want my puppy to hunt the scent of pheasant, not rotting flesh.
I have purchased these wings before and have never had this problem. I will never purchase them again. I would be better served to cut the wing off a pheasant that had been hit along the highway than to purchase this product again."

"If you are trainning your dog for phesants than there is nothing better than using phesant parts as your trainning tool.
I have used a countless number of these wings and they are fresh and durable. if you want the best preformance out of your dog use the best products to train them. these wings are second to none!!!"

"I used the 6 pack of wings for trainning my yellow lab and they worked great! The dog picked up on the scent right away. In response to the above review... they are suppose to be dried or they would be rotten. The smell of the wild bird is still intact. Overall, I have recommended this product to many friends and relatives! Thanks!"
