"Awesome! One time of leaving the yard cured both of my dogs from running away. This system is so much better than running wires. I have an 80# Rottweiler mix and a 40# Shepard mix that absolutely would not stay in the yard, until I started using this system."

"I like the petsafe wireless system, however I have gone through 6 collars in two years due to them breaking. The plastic washers holding the shock box on the collar break off so the box falls off and gets lost. Other breakage problems are the battery threads, and the on/off switch."

"My wife and I invested a lot of money and time in our Golden Ret. puppy. We have enjoyed our new puppy. He is the joy of our lives. However, it was difficult to teach him not "Take Off" in the field and stay away from the road. We thought it was only a matter of time before he was killed in the road. I turned to your website for help. I saw your Pet-Safe wireless fence. A traditional "In-Ground Fence" would have been difficult for us to install because of our stone walls, hill, and wooded area. So we gave it a try. Not only did it contain our dog, but he became a different dog. It showed him consequence for his behavior. I had heard that it was cruel and painful. It's a mild correction which can be regulated acording to your animal. Now he hears the warning "Beep" and turns. He's a different dog and one we can enjoy without constant tension that he will run off. We like it so much we decided to get a "Field Collar" by Pet-Safe. Same results. We can't recommend them enough. All you do is plug it in. No wires. No digging. And, we can take it with us! It's portable. You got a new puppy or hard to train dog? Get yourself a Pet-Safe wireless fence. It'll change your life and save your pet."

"The pet safe wireless fence and collars are great. Where we live it is mostly rock making it very difficult to dig a trench for wires. Our dogs learned the borders within a day. The batteries have been dead over a month and the dogs still stay within the boundaries."

Petsafe Containment Collars,November 24, 2006

"The Petsafe Containment collars have changed our lives in a huge way! We have 3 dogs, 2 of whom are wanderers and chasers of chickens, cats, small animals and game...very bad juju where we live. We could never trust them completely to hang out in the yard; they'd be fine for hours but then they'd run off and be gone for up to an entire day, or night more often. The Petsafe containment collars work like a charm to keep the dogs within their "designated area" so they can be free to run in the yard, and we can relax and not have to keep our eyes glued to them every second. It was very easy to train the dogs to the containment system by just following the instructions. Recently we had a huge windstorm that knocked out the power for several days. We continued to use the collars on the dogs anyway, and see that they have learned their safe area and that as long as they have the collars on they will stay in the yard. We have even tested them without the containment collars and they have stayed within bounds, but we don't do this very often since we want them to relate their safe area with the collars. We did have a problem with the additional collar we bought not working properly. Cabellas' excellent customer service helped us to resolve the problem even though the warranty had expired. We are completely satisfied with Cabellas and this product and would recommend both to anyone."

"I have not had any problems with either my petsafe receivers or transmitter. I originally purchased the transmitter with one receiver, and later purchased a second for both animals. My use is strictly to contain my two animals- two chocolate labs- in my yard while away. It took only a few days for my dogs to figure them out. At first, I did put out the flags in the yard, but later found it is much easier to just let them go and figure it out on their own. The batteries do run down quickly if the receivers are set off frequently, or the warning beep is activated. I am able to buy replacement batteries locally- would be nice to have rechargeable batteries though. Only other thing I found is it does not pick up the transmissions if your property is not flat. Large drop offs or hills cutoff the transmissions and the animal is able to get out. It is wonderful not to have to worry with wires in the ground."

"We've used this system for a couple of years now. It works wonderfully. Only drawback is the buckle on the collar is weak and the dog can get the collar off. We've lost (2) collars so far at $135 each.... it's a pain. I suggest replacing the buckle immediately upon receiving this collar. Our dog is a normal Black Lab and he can dislodge the collar if scratching his neck."
