I didn't test it long enough.,December 29, 2009
By Bucktoothfrom Blacksburg, VA
"I started applying the solution to my dogs feet about a week before my December South Dakota pheasant hunt, but I can't really say with certainty if my dogs feet were better off using the solution. I do believe it helped but I would like to use it longer, in the field, before saying it helped for certain. One thing for certain, my dogs feet where clean after each applicaion. The solution is mostly alcohol and because of the cleaning I believe her feet stayed healthier and she hunted longer for me each day during our 7 day hunt."

"Great stuff, I have to assume it works great. I have never gone without it I hunt Labs, and every year take my dogs for 10 days of solid bird hunting in Nebraska.. I start applying Tuf-Foot 30 days before the trip and apply at nights end during the hunt. I have found a cheap paint brush works best for application. Nebraska is tuff land, lots of CRP fields, edges of cut bean fields, and lots of old farm debris, barb wire and other hazzards. I have yet to have a foot problem.. Once in a great while I might see a worn pink spot on edge of dogs pads. I have several pairs of dog boots that have yet to see the ground . I do not know what would happen if I didn`t use it.. My good luck tells me not try. Happy hunting"

By trigsandtansfrom Spokane, WA
"I have only used it for about a week on my Vizsla, and my GSP. My Vizsla had very course, scratchy, pads before and now they are a lot smoother and feel like tough leather."

A dog is only as good as his feet,December 8, 2006
By Firefightercavefrom Maplewood Minnesota
"I have been using Tuf-Foot treatment for some time, I use it all year around to keep my dogs paws in top shape. I purchased for mainly conditioning his feet for hunting, my dog runs with boots in the later season and in thorny conditions. I have found that over all he does better when I use tuf-foot on his paws to keep his feet from getting so sore and he can hunt longer."
