"Even though I had read reviews from some about this stock not lining up properly with the screw holes, I encountered no problems whatsoever mounting it to my Model 700 ADL. It was a perfect fit, with everything aligning properly, as a true factory replacement part should be."

"I recently purchased the Remington Synthetic Rifle Stock for my Remington 700 ADL in .30-.06. I bought it to replace my original wooden stock so I could use it in inclimate weather without damaging my original stock.
I am extremely pleased with it. It actually fits better and is easier to control than my original stock. I found my rifle fit into it perfectly without having to modify it as with some other synthetic stocks that I have owned.
I highly recommend the Remington Synthetic Rifle Stock to anyone who wants quality and durability at a reasonable price."

"Poor quality, screws would not line up or engage. very frustrating. I am a licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic, and I could not get this product to fit, without a major re-working which would have voided the return clause. Do not waste your time or money on this inferior product. hvm."

"The stock fit my Model 7 Remington perfectly. With this stock, I was able to shoot 1/2" to 3/4" groups. With its wooden stock 1 1/2" groups were the norm. It has an excellent recoil pad."

"Purchased this because it was a great price, and I needed a replacement for the factory stock. A bit tough to mount - difficult to align the screws properly. Had to really squeeze down hard on the stock to get the second screw started. Once started, both screws seated firmly though. Final fit is nice; barrel floats freely. Very functional. For the price, a very good stock."

Synthetic stock a sure fit!,

"This stock replacement was a snap. There are small tabs on the inside front of the stock that can be easily trimed with a file in about 10 seconds to get that "free floating" barrel. It took only about three minutes to remove the old stock and replace it with this one. Great fit, great price, great product! First time at the range yielded a 1" group at 100 yards with a .270."
