"It was a good modification for to my 870, but the finish is already showing wear. A plain black might have been a better choice. I have been using it almost everyday. I have had it about 3 weeks on the 870. Give me a break it is waterfowl season. The recoil pad on the new synthetic stock is much better than the wood stock recoil pad. I am extremely tuff on my equipment. Other than a little wear it is great so far. It feels and shoulders like normal."

"the stocks were fine...however, Cabelas does not include a forend wrench, which is required to remove the forend stock. unless you have a wrench already, you will either need to order one elsewhere or have a gunsmith change out the stock. will be sending this back to Cabelas."

Almost as Good as it Looks,September 9, 2008

"I was thrilled with the camo job and the fit. It isn't easy to find a fore-end for the Super Mag, but it did fit and it fit well. The camo was beauthiful, until the third day of hunting and then it appeared to be rubbing off ever so slightly. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT! Its not like I put it through a ton of use, we really didn't get many shots off this opener, so I was dissappointed in the durability. Other than that, its a good deal.
Note: My partner's Browning paint job endured far better."

"It made old 870 supermag look brand new I love it.
The only thing I didn't like was that there should be a cheap forearm screw wrench to take off the old forearm. It's very difficult with a screw driver."

"The stock fits and looks great. The camo pattern is super. This transformed my old 870 into a beauty. It came with the Remington R3 Limbsaver recoil pad, a sling mount and a new bolt. There's a backing plate that gets removed when installing the stock and it fit like a glove. The only problem I had was lining up the fore stock so it wouldn't rub when pumped. When you tighten the nut the fore arm twists a bit. My buddies are looking at getting them but ordering into Canada is a problem I don't understand. No problem with Canadian import laws for a stock. Who knows why."

"I Put this On My 870 Super Mag and Love It. The Grip Feels Soooo much better the butt pad is really soft and the Camo looks great! better then what it does in the display picture. camo matches my gun to perfection. awsome product for the price."
