Great Gloves,March 21, 2009
By TripZZZZfrom Stockholm, Sweden
"I use these gloves on a daily basis during the Swedish winter. They look great and keep your hands warm in the high teens. I've even worn them hunting, but would not recommend them for that purpose unless it is dry. They are leather after all. Durable and worth the extra money, I've had them two seasons and they still look great and have not streched out like other leather gloves I have owned."
Best glove for the buck,February 24, 2009
By Henkasfrom Lund, Sweden
"I´ve been searching for a good glove for ages and let me tell you this. For this money you CAN'T find a better glove that is so flexible, thin and with gore-tex. In Sweden it gets pretty cold during wintertime but so far I´ve experienced that I am the one with the warmest hands after a day of hunting. Thumbs up for the Gore-tex, it´s excellent."
Leather gortex insulated gloves,February 17, 2009
By Mike98042from Covington, Washington
"These are perfect for the use I have intended...Hunting in central Idaho at elevations of 9-10,000 feet. They are durable, but, light weight making it easy to handle a rifle, yet warm enough to stave off the early morning chill that accompanies hunting at higher altitiudes in mid October. At 63 years young, warmth is just as important as comfort and ease of use."
Sure keeps my hands warm,February 16, 2009
By Whimsey4Ufrom Santa Rosa, CA
"I purchased these gloves for shooting and hunting and they are ok for those purposes. However they are nice driving gloves on cold days too. My steering wheel is not heated..."
Poor fit in the fingertips,February 9, 2009
By J973
"I liked the design and fit, but the layers in the fingertips made them bad for working with my hands, which is what I bought them for. If you need something as a low-bulk, high-quality work glove, these are for you. But not for hunting/shooting."
Not all I had hoped...,February 9, 2009
By BoogShellfrom Whitstone, NY
"These gloves are definitely tough. However, I expected a little more warmth from the Thinsulate lining, but it's not there. Also, it's hard to do anything detailed in these gloves. I can't imagine relying on them to get in and out a trigger guard with ease."
Some of the best gloves,January 29, 2009
By mix579
"I'm on my second pair now. Lost the last one and didn't hesitate to order a new pair. Most gloves don't do a good job keeping your fingers warm, these do.
They come a bit small so you may want to order one size larger than your normal size.
I use them for retriever training, not shooting, and they're perfect for that purpose but they seem a bit bulky and I can see that you might have problems handling shells. But then again, that's why they're warm."
These are great gloves,January 26, 2009
By kvk111from wisconsin North Shore Milwaukee
"The combination of kangaroo leather, Gortex and Thinsulate make this one of the best gloves availsablr. I am not a sportsman. I bought them for the look and the warmth."
Excellent cold weather dress gloves!,January 20, 2009
By RobtTfrom Warrensburgh, New York
"Gloves are excellent for outdoor wear in this part of the country (northern New York). The temperature was 28ºF below zero yesterday. The gloves kept my hands warm. They fit well and the velcro holds them in place. This is the second pair I have had in five years. If your hands get cold get these gloves! Robert."
Great non-shooting gloves,December 15, 2008
By xunilhrfrom Kernersville, NC
"These gloves work great for keeping your hands dry and warm, but don't buy them for shooting. They are a bit bulky for that use. A little pricey too, but very good gloves."
Poor fit,December 3, 2008
By marnafrom Mariposa, California
"I was getting ready to return these gloves for a women's "extra small" If there is an extra small available! I don't understand why women's gloves have these incredibly long fingers???? From the end of my fingers to the end of the gloves is about 1/2 inch. They are of no use to me, poor fit in the fingers. The quality of the leather is a 5 star, the fit except for the finger is a 5 star. It's a shame about the finger length. Sorry!"
Great for Sitting...Not so good for shooting,November 8, 2008
By GSAndyfrom North Texas
"I bought these gloves after buying a set without the gortex and loving them...though I lost them after the first year. I use them for shooting and for patrol as a police officer. The gortex seems to make the glove considerably more bulky than the thinsulate model only. It keeps my hands warm, but won't be used on duty anymore...I just can't feel my trigger and they are too bulky for any dexterity. I have relegated this set as my winter motorcycle riding glove and will buy another set with the gortex for duty use. As for motorcycle riding...they're great."
Not completely what we expected,October 22, 2008
By wandaffrom Anchorage, Alaska
"The item ordered wasn't exactly what I wanted. I and my husband didn't know it was Kangaroo leather. Next time I'll ask more questions to be completely satified. Thank you"
Rainy Day Cure,October 13, 2008
By SharingItfrom Watertown, SD
"Worth every penny! I used these gloves for the opening day for pheasants and my hands stayed warm and dry dispite the 40 degree wind driven rain and sleet! These goves kept my hands warm and dry instead of shrivelled up prunes like my other gloves! These gloves dried as soft and flexible as the day I got them, maybe even better! Now if only the birds were this good..."
"Honestly ladies and gentlemen, the best glove I have ever worn. Been shooting for over 30 years, including CANUSA Games, worn hundreds of syles and brands, these are the best. I have no less than 7 pair with two brand new pair in the closet. The leather wears like iron. They are a little "pricey", but well worth it. Take the "plunge"."
Kangroo Leather Gore-Tex/Thinsulate Shooting Glove,September 8, 2008
By DougerJrfrom Adrian, MI
"I really like the long wearability, comfort and excellent gun feel these gloves provide. Add rain to a bird hunt, and the gloves keep you going. This is my second pair so I'll be sure to have a replacement when the first give up."
"The first pair I recieved were torn on the inside and the 2nd pair looked like they were worn about 2 months.I had ordered a pair earlier this year and liked them so much i ordered these. This pair gets 0 stars the pair I mentioned before were 5 stars..and by the way I asked for my money back on this pair.."
