"I was looking for a pair of gloves to shoot in warm to hot weather, and these seem light enough, but I was dissappointed in the fake leather on the palms. It did not provide any grip. The velcro tabs on the back of the hand were too stiff and very poorly sewn. I am not using them!"

"Size runs small. Somewhat shabby construction but hasn't fell apart yet. It's better than nothing but certainly no bargain. Would never had purchased had I been able to try them on and feel them. It's one of the risks of buying online but I guess the convenience is worth it. Must be better built alternatives but I personally don't know what."

Just good gloves,

"I do not use these gloves for shotgunning but for hunting in hot weather areas. They are great for it and I even bought a pair for a friend. They have never ripped or torn and prevented my palms from getting scratched when I fell on a rocky area. If anything, they provided a lightweight barrier when I shake hands with people in third world countries. Everone should have a pair."

"I just bought my third pair of these gloves, I've used them mostly for upland bird hunting and they hold up very well. Along with protecting your hands from thorns and branches, they give you the ability to still shoot your gun without being too bulky. When this pair wears out, I will be buying another pair. Great Product......"

"Bob Allen was always a good product name, untill now ! the seams were split on two fingers and the cheap elastic for the wrist was frayed and scratched my wrist when I tryed to use them for the first and only time. I thru them out that very day.

Good shooting glove with great feel,

"I wear these gloves for skeet and sporting clays, even when the weather is warm. The overall fit is quite good. They are snug but do not bind or restrict circulation. They provide a positive tactile feel on the trigger and the palm material offers good grip for fingering and loading shells. (I can even type this review while wearing them, although I have to go a little slower on the keyboard).
Stitching quality overall is very good... no loose threads or unsewn seams, even in the finger crotches. The mesh liner on the back of the hands provides adequate stretch and the knit is open enough to offer good ventilation in warm weather.
I have only two negatives about these gloves. The cuff hem is finished with a vinyl plastic seam liner which kinks and creates sharp edges. The vinyl also cracks after a few years, long before the rest of the glove has worn out.
The second is that they are sourced in Pakistan. I would gladly pay just a few dollars more to have them made here in the good old USA. Compared to the cost of my guns and other apparel, it would be an insignificant added cost.
