"Love this hat. Retains shape and turns rain rather well. Packed one in luggage and flew to Idaho for an elk hunt. It went right back to shape when pulled from luggage. This is my second one. The first one ended up as a good target for some freinds for pistol practice on a recent camping trip. Worked well for that also."

"Wore this hat on my September elk hunt in Montana and was very happy with the comfort and easy-adjustable strap. Color was good and it kept it's shape well after being packed in a suitcase for two days. But it's pretty warm to wear in September weather...better suited for the cool days of October or November. Don't let the name fool you: it's light, but it's a warm hat."

"The quality of this hat is wonderful. I have two others in Orange Camo and Camo to use as the seasons require. I now where these everywhere I go and get comliments on the great hat. I was skeptical about the one size fits all but the adjustable headband is a great idea. It works fantastic! If there was one thing I would change it would be to have a chin strap or tie added so the wind wouldn't threaten to take it off my head. Other than that I can't think of any way to make it better."
"This is a very nice hat. It fit well and was very comfortable. I am not a real fan of "blaze," ...however, since I must wear it on certain hunts, this is the way to go. It got a little hot, but, in I think any hat would have (with as much hikiing as I was doing). I had 2-3 people comment about how nice it looked and how it was better than wearing the "old blaze baseball cap. Buy it!!"

"I have both the Blaze orange break-out cammo and the regular cammo. The regular design is good for regular wear. I like to wear the Blaze orange hat because it annoys my family quite a bit. My office staff tried to hide it on me. LOL! I will know more next upland season but right now I'm loving both hats."

"Purchased this orange outback to wear in the PA hunting season when it is raining and snowing..Have not used it in rain or snow yet but I have used it on several cold days squirrel hunting..I climbed a very steep hill..when I got to the top I noticed that my eyeglasses were not steaming over . In the past I would have worn my Goretex hat which is breathable but my eyeglasses would always steam up when I got overheated...I believe there is better air circulation with the Outback Hat compared to a cap.even if it is goretex.. I told the wife it would make me a good hiking hat being Flo. orange..If anything happened while I was in the woods it would make it alot easier to find me|"

"This hat was purchased for me and my wedding party. All of us 7 guys wore these has after the cermoney. Everybody who came to the wedding loved the hats and were trying to steal them from us. "This is a very comfortable hat. I purchased the solid blaze orange hat, and it's very visible in the field. I've worn it quite a bit this fall, including deer and pheasant hunting. The pheasent hunt included a day of occational showers, and occational down poors. The hat held up very well, and my head never got wet. A couple of the other hunters had also purchased this hat, and we were all recieving compliments on them. My only complaint is that the rain stains the hat a little. Since this is a hunting hat, I don't mind the stains."

"In the field one of the things I notice in the Northwest is folks without Orange on. The Felt lite Orange hats are very visible and may save your life. We remember the vests but the head is what is usually visible first. Specially if you are climbing a hill and another hunter is on the other side."

"Being a hat person, I have purchased many hats that are worn a few times and put up because they were not comfortable. This hat fits and rides well on your head with the added benefit of being made very well. I purchased the blaze camo for hunting. However, I find myself wearing it out doing yard work because of the comfort and keeping the sun off my face and neck. I recently wore this hat out West and was caught in a major rain event three miles from the shelter. By the time I arrived to the truck it had rained heavy on the hat for about an hour and a half. The water was just starting to soak through the hat. For an untreated hat, it was impressive. You cannot go wrong with this hat."
