"Hat is well built, fits right, camo pattern is correct, but the little leather slide on the chin strap should be replaced with a ball slider type. This one will not hold the strap under tension. The slide slips and the hat tries to fly away in windy conditions."

"Good heavy duty product at a great price. Only drawback is it is not waterproof. However two treatments of Cabela's spray-on water repellent did the job. Eight days of rain in Colorado and my head stayed nice and dry."

"This boonie will not make you look cool. But it does keep the sun out of your eyes, off the back of your neck, and is washable. The material is pretty lightweight, but not flimsy. I run in mine in the desert, and would recommend if you want to wash the boonie to purchase a size larger."

"This is well constructed, looks durable, but seems to run towards the small side of listed size. I like a little more room for a bandanna head wrap for sweat. I ordered a large (usually works for me) but this one was too tight, so giving it away as a gift, bought it on sale, so not worth returning it. It is a good hat."

"I bought this item with some of my bonus points which I've acquired. The detailed information in the catalogue allowed me to specifically pick the hat with the camo color I wanted as wellas the material and shape i needed. This item is a gift to my long time friend. She is relatively new to hunting, but bid for and received an elk tag this season. She's blond and needed something to cover her hair correctly. The season started Sept. 17, and she got her elk on Nov. 7th. I'm exceptionally glad I bought the hat among other things for her and myself from Cabela's.
