"I have owned nine different sweatshirt jackets in my adult life. 5 years ago, I lost over 100 lbs and had to completely redo my clothing sizes, so over the last several years I have repurchased the things that I had enjoyed while I was much larger. In doing so, I purchased new jackets, one of them being this sweat shirt jacket in Seclusion 3-D. I do like this pattern even though I live near a major camoflage pattern innovator and distributor in Mississippi.
Cabelas sells great products, this jacket being no exception. It is lighter than some of the competitors products, but I use it both as a stand alone outer garment on cool days and underneath another jacket on colder days. In both instances, it works well; warm enough on the milder days and not too bulky to be worn as a second layer underneath the outer jacket.
The fit is comfortable, it is not too tight since it is sized a bit larger than other clothing, but not too bulky which would make it difficult to shoot a rifle or shotgun accurately. The outer shell is quiet, the lining is smooth tricot which makes it easy to shrug into, the insulation is thin but offers some warmth retention and the snaps and zipper are both well made. When on sale, it is a bargain for the price. At full price, it is still a good value.
However, there are two improvements which I would like to see. One, there are no chest pockets either in the interior or the outer shell. Others sell their designs with these pockets and it makes it easier to store items. Two, there is no zipper on the slash/handwarmer pockets. Items can be easily lost, especially if one is moving quickly and the items in the pockets bounce very much. There are snaps on the pockets, but not zippers. Other than that, I love the jacket and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a light, quiet, fairly inexpensive, well made jacket."

"it's ok, not quite the quality I was hoping for, but still ok. My son normally needs a "tall" but can get by without it, not with this jacket. If you need a "tall" better order a size up and hope for the best."

"Absolutely more than I bargained for. Great value at a great price. I am very pleased with this item. Makes a great light jacket. Warm and comfortable and didn't shrink when I washed it. Though afternoons are still warm it's great for early in the mornings when the air is crisp. Good quality garment that should give years of service.
