"Havent used yet, I purchased it on Cabela's year end sale for next season."
The hat seems to be on the small side and the size adjustment band is really cheap plastic. The band snaps won't even hold in the last two adjustment holes. Other than the band, the hat material and workmanship seems to be very good. I think I may look at replacing the adjustment band with a good quality one from a hat I dont wear anymore."

"I love the hat. Many hunters know that a great deal of heat & scent escapes from the head. I sew it into a scentlok hood and get double the scent protection. I also can then adjust the size of it if I need a base layer of a balaclava under the hat. That way I can keep it snug and the hat hood combination turns with my head nicely.

"The hat fits well and has a good camo pattern. The jury is still out on if activated carbon claims are true or not when it come to game. I had no expeiences to convince me one way or the other but will use anything that can give me an advantage while hunting."

"The cap was listed as one size fits most. I wear a size 7 1/2
hat and was unable to adjust the strap far enough. The depth of the cap itself was shallow, and did not reach very far on the sides of my head. Finally, the stitching was of poor quality - there was a open section on the inside of the cap. For the money, it was not a good cap and I returned it."

"I made this baseball hat a final addition to my complete Cabela's Scent Lok bowhunting outfit. To say it worked great would be an understatement. After the first four hours of wearing the hat, the true test came. I had a huge eight point buck down wind of me, and he never even batted an eye. The scent concealment offered by Cabela's Scent Lok gave me numerous opportunities to take my time and get great shot placements on many deer."

"No way does "One size" fit all!! I have a 7 1/2 hat size and even if the band fit properly around the head, not enough material was used to make this hat sit down on the head. This hat is not the quality I expect from Cabela's."

"First of all ordering on line is so easy, a caveman can do it.I love to bow hunt, the other types of head gear makes my anchor point feel funny and I lose some confidence. I prefer a hat and face paint. My first hunt of the season I was winded by a deer wearing a scent suit and a wool hat. My scent-lok ball cap in time for my next two hunts in which I was successful both times. The only difference in my set up was the ball cap."
