Cabela's Scent-Lok® Insulated Gloves with MT050® Shell

The MT050 shell is as soft and quiet as fleece and it will not pick up burrs. And these 100-gram Thinsulate? insulated Scent-Lok gloves not only prevent human scent from escaping, but they also provide exceptional warmth on extra cold days afield. A synthetic Tac-Grip palm provides a secure grip on your bow or rifle. Knit cuff prevents human scent from escaping. If you wear a Scent-Lok suit without a pair of these gloves, you're not effectively managing any odor. Imported. Sizes: S-XL. Camo patterns: Seclusion 3D?, Mossy Oak? New Break-Up?, Realtree? MTO50 GLOVES NOT WATERPROOF!, November 15, 2009

"My Father-in-Law and I purchased these gloves to go with our MTO50 rain gear, what a mistake! Hunting elk in the Northwest can be extremely wet, so we know the importance of staying dry during a hunt. While the MT050 raingear preformed extremely well, the gloves were a joke! As soon as you touched a snow covered branch, your hands became wet. The cotton cuff, even after keeping it inside my MT050 jacket sleeve, would eventually get wet, and the water would wick up my arm. We were both extremely disappointed in the preformance and will be returning them immediately! Thank goodness that Cabela's stands behind their gear."

"I purchased these gloves thinking that I may be able to use them for late season deer hunting (Gun/Archery). Although you could probably get away with them for gun hunting, using them for bowhunting is out of the question (at least for me anyway). The gloves are poorly fitted, and do not provide enough dexterity to be used for bowhunting. The gloves also run small, as I had to return my usual large size for an XL. Shop around..."

"Good gloves down to the 30s. They do run a little small. A large is usually a little big on me and these were just right. They are good gloves and you can shoot a rifle with them on just fine. The main drawback is the palm is not very durable. Any briars or even letting a gear rope down to fast will tear them up."

"Living in northern new york, im always looking for warm gloves for the late rifle/muzzleloading seasons. I purchased these prior to winter arriving and was very pleased. My hands stayed dry and warm on every hunt, a good thing seeing as how the snow arrived in november again this year. Be sure to order one size larger than normal, they do run a bit small."

"I was pleased with my MT050 Bibs and Jacket so I thought these goves would be good as well. I bought a size larger than I usually wear because another review said they were a little tight.

First

I can get one on with difficulty, but found it impossible to get the second one one using a gloved hand. The cuff is way too tight. Once on, the one that is on fits well.

Second

I hunted in snow, and my hands stayed wet and cold all day.
I found these neither water proof, or warm. I finally took the gloves off, and put my hands in my pockets to keep warm.

I will attempt to return these as I am very dissatisfied with them. I would not reccomed them to any one."

"I purchased these gloves for this years late archery season. The main reason I picked these gloves is because these were the only ones that I could find in Hardwoods since AP came out at that time. The gloves have good dexterity, grip, warmth and are snug. They run a little on the small side so if your a large go for the xl as a previous reviewer mentioned. These gloves are pretty warm. I've used them in 30 degree weather with no wind and the only cold feeling that I had were in the finger tips. It was only a slight coldness nothing unbarable. Once it gets into the 20's and less or you have alot of wind in the 30's then you will feel alot more coldness in the tips per my experience but nothing a hand warmer can't take care of while you have your hands in your pockets waiting for the right moment. I can't complain about these gloves because you still have good dexterity to feel your release with everything these gloves come with. You can definitely go for more warmer thicker gloves but then you'll lose the dexterity you need to feel your trigger release. They also fit very well in the trigger guard of your gun. The only thing that I have not tested on these gloves is its water proofness but I don't usually hunt in the rain. I have both versions of these gloves insulated and uninsulated and would recommend to anyone."

"i was shoping in hamburg cabela's store yesturday and got these glove's i found that they fit tight and can't wait to use them for hunting i'm trying to get everything i can with scent loc on them i told the employee's there at cabela's i am going for pulling out all the stop's this yr to get a big buck.these are great for the price.and plan to tell my friend's about them"
