"This is the third pair of silk drawers I've bought in four years and I can’t tell the new from the old, so yes they hold up well. So now a plug for silk, if you are hunting and find yourself stepping over all sorts of stuff you will find you have much better leg movement with silk your pants material slides right over it, less tripping and falling. Silk doesn't seem to make you sweat like other materials can but if you do it seem to dry quickly. Not as warm as other materials either which could be good or bad. It all depends on how warm you want to be."

"I have field tested the silk drawers this year. Excellent warmth but I DO NOT recommend this as a base layer because it does not wick moisture well. Gets wet on the way to the stand and stays wet against the skin. Helps keeps me warm on very cold days as a layer over Polartec EWCS and a Patagonia base layer."

"These silk drawers made the difference between ok and comfortable on our last backpacking trip. They worked great under pants during the morning and evening and as a pajama bottom at night. They are on the large size, but the silk is light and not bulky."

"I have been wearing the 100% silk underwear for the past 10+years, and I couldn't possibly be more satisfied. I wear both the original weight for cool conditions and the heavy weight for the coldest conditions. Not only is it very warm, it wicks away body moisture when sweating while hunting or fishing. I wear the original weight if when it is warm just because of the wicking action. I will never buy anything else."

"I purchase some Cabelas leggings in the past which worked well so I decided to try out the silks this winter. Overall, work good for 20-30 degree weather but I would not recommend them for cooler temperatures. I know Cabelas carries a heavier version which is what I should have gone with. If you are only going to be outside for short time periods they work fine but I spend at least an hour outside during the day and these are just to light."

"One would think that silk would not last very long. On the contrary, I routinely wear them in the winter months and wash them with the rest of the laundry - no special care. They are also comfortable. I've never used long underwear before because they are simply too warm indoors. These drawers are the exception; I can move between indoors and outdoors with no discomfort."
