"I have had these boots for nearly 10 years. These boots are absolutely great! They are never worn unless it is cold, wet and generally nasty. They have never let me down. They are heavy but when elk hunting over all the rocks your feet will never get sore.
Danner makes expensive boots that are quality and worth the money."

"I like the style of the boot but they just didn't fit me right. It was more me than the boot. I returned the boots with no problem and bought another pair of Danner boots that fit me better. I wish they would have fit I liked the style better than the one's I bought."

Great Boots,

"I love these boots. I had an issue at first because I used the Cabela's foot sizing chart and the boots were a whole size bigger than what was recommended. However the excellent customer service of Cabela's immediately sent me the correct size boots. These boots are great. There was no break in time. One thing is that there is no full size foot bed with these boots. It does come with a half size foot bed with arch support if you need it. However they are made of a soft flexible plastic that I found slips inside the boot...kind of awkward. I bought a thin one from a dept store and it works great. Caution: if the aftermarket foot bed is too thick you feet will get cramped. I called Danner and they confirmed that the boot was designed to have a low profile (it was designed without a full size slip in foot bed) and thus the half foot bed. The boot feels good without one. I just prefer to have one though. Great job to Cabela's customer service dept. and Danner for an excellent boot."

"I work personal protection/armed security and am a reserve police Lieutenant. I sometimes spend up to 12 plus hours on my feet in all kinds of weather here in the Great Lake State depending on my duties that day. Danner boots have served me well for over 15 years. From my first pair of FT. Lewis to my Commanders I wear daily Danner boots have ALWAYS proved to be a cut above any other boot I have tried. In my opinion they are tops in their field."

"Very solid boot. Excellent construction, and shank. I have a narrow foot and wear a 10-B. The size of these Commander boots fits perfect. They are a little bit stiff, but I am sure with some use and wear they will break-in just fine. The Commander Boots are well insulated and fit snug without rubbing. I would highly recommend."

"This is my second pair of these boots and I wear them every day to a rock quarry and they have held up in 100 degree heat to -1 degree weather, they have been soak and wet and they have been abused, but they never have let me down. I am very happy with these boots."

"I purchased Danner as recommended by friends in the security industry and they look great. I am just breaking them in now for this coming fall season. They are made in USA. waterproof, feel great and look super. Well made and well worth the cost, or so I have heard. I like the inserts and the workmanship. A great choice for service wearability!

"This is a good boot but not as comfortable as other Danner boots. I LOVE the Danner® 6" Workman Hot-Weather Steel-Toe Boot and I "just" like these. I have read reviews and other people have said that they like the the Plastic inserts, I do not. This is a good boot but might not have purchased them now knowing they have a better boot (which I have)."

"Although the fit and style are excellent, I have found that the boot does not flex in the sole, to the point it gives me shin splints after walking on pavement or concrete floors. It is not at the end of the day, but all day, starting right off in the morning. I wear similar boots made by another manufacturer in the same environment and have not experienced any issues."
