By Oakviewfrom Georgia
"I would highly recommend this jacket. The fabric is quiet and durable. I would add a few small breast pockets. The jacket packs easily into a managable size."
cabelas MTO 50,December 29, 2008
By 11pointfrom Oak forest,Illinois
"I used this product for 4 days this season (2008) and the pants are badly worn this product is not durable at all. It is very good rain gear but cabelas needs to go back to the same material and qaulity they use to have. Like when they made supper slam sadle cloth that was the best camo I ever purchased waterproof, burr proof, quiet and warm and very durible the MTO 50 is only waterproof and quiet not Burr proof and not durable as for how warm it is I did not buy insulated camo this time but would not recomend this product"
It's great as long as it doesn't rain,November 1, 2008
By jbullfrom Napa, CA
"I recently went on a late season deer hunt in the sierra nevada mountains and encountered a pretty good rain storm. I wasn't worried though because I had my MTO50 rain gear. I was however disappointed this time because I was soaked to the bone. It cut short my backpacking hunt. I had never been let down by a cabelas product before and I don't plan on it happening again."
MTO50 raingear,October 14, 2008
By JMLhuntrfrom OR
"I used this jacket on an oregon archery elk hunt. After getting pics of a big bull on my trail camera I decided to set up a treestand and wait. After getting set up, the weather decided to take a change from sunny and 70's to snowy and windy, the mto5o rain gear kept me on stand for 4 days, unfortunately it didn't manage to bring the bull in :( oh well that's why its called hunting. I was very impressed with the raingear and look forward to using it again. thanks"
Rain Gear,September 22, 2008
By BAPsfrom Portland, OR
"I ordered this jacket in case of rain for a week long elk hunt. After several downpours, I stayed dry the whole time, I started using the jacket instead of a fleece pullover I had brought. The jacket was lighweight, comfortable, quiet, and kept me dry. While I was wearing the jacket we had elk within 6 yards looking in our direction. The camo patern worked great. My hope for the future is MT050 pants with a 36" inseam."
Great Pants and Jacket,September 8, 2008
By CalgaryHunter
"This is an excellent rainand wind jacket, quiet enough to bow hunt in, I just finished a successful Caribou bow hunt and had to wear the jacket and pants several very windy/rainy days. Only negative for me is the weight, the jacket compresses down nicely, but weighs more than I wanted for a fanny pack."
Montana Elk Hunt 2004,August 1, 2008
By Rhodefrom Springfield, SD
"I bought both the pants and jacket as a matched set. I was elk hunting in Montana in September 2004 on a guided hunt. It rained and snowed every day there and I was kept dry by this outerwear. It is super quiet, not bulky, versatile, and very affordable. It is one of the best investments in hunting gear I have ever purchased. It has lots of pockets for putting things into including a large cargo pocket on each leg. It is very breathable and I wear it hunting whenever the weather is wet. I would reccommend hunters purchase this product if you are going on a hunting trip because no matter what the weather does you can still hunt. By the way I shot a huge 6x6 bull elk from less then 75 feet on this hunt and don't feel it would have been possible if it not for this gear being so quiet. Truely a great product!"
Best there is,May 11, 2008

"I hunt almost every day of the season. Rain or shine this is the best rainwear ive ever used. I think ive tried them all. These are the ones to have they are so comfortable and no rain gets in. If it even is calling for rain im wearing these. I even use them for sring gobbler. I love mto50 I also have the cold weather series which is great. It truly is the best money can buy"
excellent product,April 7, 2008
By mmtatumfrom Alabama
"Turkey hunted all morning in the rain and stayed completely dry. Even though I got a little warm, the Gore-Tex fabric let the perspiration evaporate, keeping my dry. Never liked hunting in the rain, but these products may change my mind."
MT050 Quiet Goretex Jacket,March 21, 2008
By Kiwiboyfrom New Zealand
"The goretex jacket is dry in the heaviest downpours, cuts out all wind and is quiet in the bush, the ability to pack down into its own compact bag assists greatly with travelling lightly. The Camo gives added stealth and the Hood is adjustable to suit personal preferance and doesn't hinder view. Have used this all year round, in rain, hail and snow. Have put this through some of New Zealand's toughest bush and it seems to get better every time. Would recommend this jacket to anyone who wants a lightweight compact quality gore tex camo jacket, just add layers underneath for extra warmth without too much bulk"

"Bought the suit because the outfitter recommended a good rain suit. It rained parts of every day on the trip and I stayed warm and dry. Could not recommend it more."
Alaska sheep hunt in the rain,September 12, 2007

"This jacket performed quite well through some very wet weather. Also, it broke the wind. I layered it over long underwear, shirt and vest, and it kept me comfortable in some very miserable weather."
just what i wanted,August 21, 2007
By NZBrettfrom New Plymouth, New Zealand
"I recently had a chance to try out the Quiet Pack Jacket. The jacket is great for those times when you aren't sure what the weather is going to do, it s light carry weight means you can put it in your daypack and bring it out when needed. The water just beads off the surface and is quiet when in the bush. Its so good I had to buy another as a mate "borrowed" mine."
