"The MT050 is far superior to any rain gear I have ever owned. Hunted moose in northern Alaska again this fall and I was dry warm and it is quiet. My hunting buddy has had his 4 or 5 years and it still looks like new. He is a warden and his gear has had a lot of use between work and play. If you don't have MT050 get some. Your won't regret it!!"

Too noisy for bowhunting,January 1, 2008

"With all the raving about how silent this material is I decided to upgrade to the MT050 for my rain pants in hopes I could wear them bowhunting in all conditions, on clear or marginal weather days also.
Not a chance. Way too noisy for bowhunting and close encounters with keen ears. I found a comparable pair for significantly less that will be equally quiet in the rain.
Decent quality, but don't recommend for bowhunters who insist on quiet fabrics for all conditions."

"I hunt extensively in the remote, steep mountain rainforests of Southeast Alaska. These are by far the best pants I or any of my friends have seen. Simple rule: the more difficult the conditions, the more important the gear. For truly wet, dirty, tough conditions, get these pants."

"I wore these on a recent elk and mule deer hunt to Wyoming and CO. I believe in the Mt050. I received the jacket as a gift a couple of years ago and was extremely impressed, so I found these in the bargain cave and couldn't resist. They are super durable, provide excellent wind / rain protection and come with the benefit of scent lok. I would highly recommend them."
