Tough, supportive and waterproof, our 7" uninsulated Outfitter boots are everything you can ask for in a quality hunting boot. The 7" uninsulated boot has a multi-purpose rubber lug outsole (also a good all-around choice for any terrain, wet or dry). Shock-absorbing EVA midsole soaks up the blows dished out by hard terrain so your ankles, knees and legs won't have to. The full-grain waterproof leather withstands the abuse and wear from rocks, trees and brush. A removable foam footbed covered with moisture-wicking polypropylene gives them extra cushioning and moisture-wicking power. And, the unique lace-to-toe construction helps lash them to your foot for maximum ankle support and comfort. A GORE-TEX® and moisture-wicking lining pulls perspiration away from your socks and feet, and the padded collar and tongue prevent blisters that can put a painful end to an otherwise successful day of hunting.
Average weight: 2.9 lbs./pair.
Men's sizes: 7-16 D and EE widths; 8-12, 13 EEEE width. Half sizes to 12.
Color: Brown.

Comfortable and long lasting,November 18, 2009

"This is my 3rd pair and they are as comfortable as the first. I normally get a year or more out of each pair. Comfortable on concrete or in the field. Great boot worth the money"

good boots, could be better,November 2, 2009
By backcounryrespectfrom Bozeman, MT
"Good: Overall a solid pair of boots. Comfortable, durable, dry, reasonably light, quality materials.
Bad: Short lugs on treads are a real disappointment and cause traction-loss at critical times. I would have preferred a taller boot (9-10") but only 7" is available uninsulated and I don't like insulated boots."

excellent Boot,October 12, 2009
By Buckykm1from Vicksburg, Mi.
"i wear these boots as my work boots, 6 days a week and 12 hours a day, they usually last me 1 1/2 to 2 years, after that the boot is still in good shape, But the Gore-Tex gives up and they start to leak, but i still feel like i more than got my moneys worth out of them.

I'm not a boot wearer,September 30, 2009
By JoeRocklandNewYorkfrom Tappan, NY
"Purchased this item for an upcoming winter trip to the Bavarian Alps. I like the look, adequate sizing (I have a wide foot) and price. I have yet to wear them a lot. But if I'm dissatisfied, I'll let you know."

Outfitter Boots,September 10, 2009
By BadExperiancefrom Missouri
"I used to like these boots alot but the last pair was not good. The soles came loose and had to be glued back on and the soft cuff on the top tore off while putting them on. I've had probably 6 pair in the past no problems may have just got a bad pair. Even with all the trouble still remain waterproof and I drive a concrete truck so they see water daily."

long lasting,September 7, 2009
By cr5545from virginia
"i bought this pair of boots over 6 years ago. i have used these boots for everything from picking up haybales, hunting, hiking, and a night out on the town. i have replaced the soles once. the stitching on the side a the pinch points began to give loose. i had them restitched a year ago. they still keep the water out. i would attribute their length of service in part to regular oil/leather conditioner application."

Great boot,September 1, 2009
By JesusChristfrom Paris, TN
"Have owned these boots only a short time, but have been very impressed. I took them to Alaska for two weeks of hard use immediately after receiving them and they felt like they were already broken in b/c they were so comfortable. They have never leaked or disappointed me in any way."

Excellent product,August 3, 2009
By mleporifrom Napa, Ca
"I purchased a pair of Iron Ridge boots last year and i use my boots hard. They lasted me 1 year and i am sure i can still wear them a few more months since i had to do a minor repair. I wanted a pair for the summer since the Iron Ridge are insulated. I purchased the Outfitter series uninsulated and have been using them for about a month now. They felt broken in the first time i put them on!!! My feet havent had one instance where they were rubbing or chafing. I am going to be ordering the 12" Outfitter boot for my upcoming hunt in October. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Another quality product from Cabelas."

They pinch my toes.,July 5, 2009
By Maketracks
"I purchased my first pair of these several years ago in size 12EEEE. When I first tried them on, I thought it was heaven. Then I stood up, and the front of my foot touched the front of the boot. I liked the boot so much that I continued to wear it for shorter hikes, fishing, and camping, when I didn't need to wear thicker socks.
Last year I bought a pair in a larger size 13EEEE, hoping it would finaly be the perfect boot, but it wasn't so. It seems like the lacing goes much further down towards the toe of the boot, so when I bend my foot forward the lacing flaps pinch down on my toes. This was definitely not a problem in my old size 12's, so I'm not sure if it is because of the longer size, or if there was a change in the design.
I've noticed some of the new boots run the laces further down towards the toe. It looks cool, but after wearing these boots, I have to believe that design is more about style than comfort or function.
My older size 12's were a little difficult to get on and off. I'm wondering if they changed the boot to address that issue, but toe pinching is a definite show stopper in boots that are made for walking. I'd much rather struggle a little when getting them on or off.
Cabelas, if you changed this boot to make it look cool, or to make it easier to get on and off, please go back to the old design, or go back to the drawing board. This boot has everthing right, except the fit."

Finally have to replace after 8 years,May 13, 2009
By mc0388from Charleston, SC
"These are by far the most comfortable most durable pair of boots I have ever owned. This is the first review of any product ever, and I am doing it because these boots deserve it. I have used these boots in construction, delineating wetlands, yard work, and surveying. It took 8 years for the boots to wear out. The leather is still without holes, and still with the original shoe laces. These boots held up to 8 years of abuse. In fact if I didn't recently get a raise I prob. would still be using these boots.
Great Boot"

"These are the most comfortable boots I have owned. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is due to the lack of a pull tab on the back of the boot to assist when putting them on. Other than that, they're great."

Good not perfect.,February 9, 2009
By Mercadofrom Deming, New Mexico
"I haven't had them long but, this is what I like and dislike. They are comfortable out of the box, look good and warm while out fishing. I don't like the laces, the soles are wearing quick, and had to put insoles in them. Seem to require a lot of maintanence to keep them looking good. They are a little pricey for the quality. Having said that...I would buy them again."
