"I purchased an identical belt from Cabelas almost ten years. I got excellent service and wanted an identical item. Your new item is made in China, but more importantly not anywhere near the quality. I ordered belts from both Don Hume and Bianchi. They cost me more, but it was worth it. I'll use your belts for around the house, but like the better quality to wear to work and socially."

"This belt is a good heavyweight belt, good for heavy duty work use, BUT the finish is poor.
The finish looks very good when the belt is new, but it is like the spray on plastic "quick spit polish" we used on our shoes in AF OT school, it eventually cracks and falls off in pieces. I think I may be able to use regular shoe polish to replace it but that won't look as good as it did originally. Too bad, because otherwise the belt seems to be of good quality."

"The first week I wore this belt the coating on the belt started wearing off and the belt starts to strip, and it is very flimsy."

"This belt seems to be a very good value when I compare it to other belts in this price range. It is heavier than some national brand jeans belt I looked at and I consider the stitched edging as "value added". My belt was bought on sale and as such a good value. When I find similar belts on sale I will buy them as well. Regular price plus shipping, well maybe that takes away a star."

"I bought the belt to hold my shotgun shell pouch and to use with a silver buckle that I won. The belt is of excellent quality, holds the shell pouch that is full of 12 gauge shell well and is wide enough that it does not dig in. The snap that holds the standard buckle worked with my silver one. I had to punch some additional holes in the belt to accomdate the "hook" on the large-sized silver buckle that spanned about 4 inches, which I quickly did with my leather punch tool."

"In Nov. 06 I bought a basketweave belt from Cabela's. (which I've cut new holes and still wear) and am still very happy with. Within the last 3 weeks I ordered a smaller one and it is not the quality that I've expected from Cabela's for years. I sent it back and stuck with the older one with new holes. Two thumbs down."
