Very nice gloves,

"I got these gloves for a trip up north to Saranac Lake's annual Winter Carnival. They are very nice, especially with the Thinsulate lining. They feel luxurious when you put them on. If they didn't have the Thinsulate, I wouldn't have gotten them. My pair has a slight defect in that on one finger the lining ends about a half-inch shorter than it should, leaving the finger tip unlined. I decided that it wasn't worth the effort of returning them for an exchange, and I still enjoy them."

"These gloves are mostly-wonderful: warm, soft on the inside, long on the cuff (which I love), and with great leather grips. However, in only a month of wear, the inside lining has pulled away from the outer wool, right at the seam - nearly 3 inches pulled away! I will need to take them to a tailor. I don't regret buying them, though I do wish that seam had been reinforced. Otherwise, these are fantastic gloves."

"I purchased the gloves and when they arrived was thoroughly dissapointed. After putting them on, the right one was smaller than the left and they were also a putrid color.
At first I thought that my right hand had grown larger than my left hand, but after further examination it was definitely the gloves.
If you decide to purchase them just do it in the store so you can get the right size."

"I have looked for some time to replace my old ragwool gloves with the leather palms. The ones I ordered from Calela's are wonderful. They come up higher on the wrist than most gloves and, with the Thinsulate lining, are thicker than I expected. That makes them perfect for cold weather but I don't plan to use them as cold weather driving gloves. Good quality and worth the price."
