Perfect Gloves,
October 19, 2009
By SpinoneBirdHunter
from Live on private bird preserve in VA. Hunt daily.
|
"The elkskin is tough, but, critically important, dries soft. Makes them useful throughout the year. No need for synthetics. Essential equipment for hunting through thorns and briars."

nice glove,
August 27, 2009
By behr54
from Northern,NY
|
"I bought the glove for summer motorcycling. It is nice and thick, protects nicely from the wind and sun without heating up your hands. It feels true to size with the only drawback being that the right glove seems to be a little tight(smaller) from palm to thumb. With a little more use I'm hoping it will stretch."

Elkhide gloves are tough,
February 9, 2009
By rustmare
from Raton, NM
|
"Normally wear deerskin gloves, they have good dexterity and some warmth. The elkskin are slightly thicker, a little warmer and equal when picking up tiny parts. Seem to be wearing better. They protect from barbed wire much better. I can pack the 1 pair of elkshin and leave the insulated gloves at home. That's how I rationalized the cost."

"I got these by mistake, I intended to get the deerskin gloves, which I've used before. For the same size designation they run longer fingers than the deerskin gloves and don't seem quite as supple. If you have long fingers, these may fit better than the deerskin. For me they are way too long."

Well balanced,

"I used these gloves over a recent Elk hunt in Arapaho National Forest in Colorado. For temperatures in the 20's & 30's, while active with dry gloves these were all of the warmth I needed. They are also quite protective when shoving pine branches out of your path."

Motorcycle Gloves,
October 24, 2008
By DougE
from Marysville, Washington St.
|
"I bought these for riding my motorcycles. They arrived two days earlier than date given. I am very pleased with them. The fit is perfect, not tight. They are plenty heavy duty. I'm a fair weather rider, but I'm sure they'd be good for colder applications. I'm going to order another pair to keep on hand. I highly recommend them. They look great too."

Great driving gloves,
March 10, 2008
By HERN416Rigby
from Chester, W.Va.
|
"These gloves were purchased exclusively for driving in cold weather. For that they are just fine. The fingers are not very uniform though. But I like them alot and would buy them again because they are not bulky. However, they are not very warm and if you drive in subzero temps. I would advise some insulation."

Best Motorcycle Glove Around,
September 10, 2007
By lhhvmi91
from Auburn, AL
|
"I have been wearing these gloves almost daily for 2 years. They are my primary protection while commuting to work and touring long distances on my BMW motorbike. After two years they are still in great condition. I use a bit of scotchguard on them for water repellent and they have managed to only get softer and more comfortable with time. Elkskin is the way to go. It dries soft and supple after being wet and provides better protection than deerskin too."

Best Ever,
April 16, 2007
By K9Cop

|
"I have been handling police dogs for over 15 years and these are by far the most durable, comfortable, and true to fit gloves I have ever purchased. I wish they were also available in black, uninsulated. I use them during tracking and my hands are well protected. I can also shoot accutately in these gloves, a tribute to the fine workmanship that distinguishes the rest of the pack from Cabella's."
