polar weight unios suit,November 18, 2009
By Yeggiefrom Southeast PA
"Good as a first layer of a base layer. Buttons are too small for button holes and won't stay fastened. It works very well with heavier layers on top because the cuffs are too tight to get over anything other than my wrists and ankles."

cabelas polar weight union suit,December 15, 2008
By Surfinmurphyfrom Ocean City, NJ
"I fish for striped bass in the late fall through december, in New Jersey, i needed a quality pair of long johns that breath for under my foul weather gear, i am used to wearing the top and bottoms but could'nt stand it when the top comes un tucked from the bottoms and the small of your back freezes, this union suit keeps me toasty warm in 20 degree weather and 30 knot winds all day, plus they allow you to move freely without binding, layers are warm but sometimes bind and with water temps around 45 degrees you need to move, especially when the seas get rough. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

Union suit mid weight,December 1, 2008
By travelerj71from Mishawaka Indiana
"This is great specifically for early winter late fall hunting. You know long hours in the envirnment looking for that big buck or other game. I love it. When things get colder go with a heavier wieght but right now its perfect in Northern Indiana."

Polar-Weight Union Suit,November 18, 2008
By kbilyfrom elk grove, ca
"I tried it out last weekend on a fishing day trip. I fished for several hours with a buddy off the Humboldt coast where the sun rarely makes an appearance. I was layered so well I never even put on my jacket. Of course our winters don't get cold like the midwest or anything, but it was still chilly (for me). Temps were in the 40's in the morning. I am a skinny guy and usually don't tolerate cold that well. I am learning to layer and this is a great base layer!
Oh yeah and it has buttons in the back so you don't have to take it all the way off when you have to take care of business."

Cold Rear End,November 5, 2008
By diver32533from Pensacola FL
"In order to use this suit for a last minute hunting trip I had to completely cut the ankle cuffs off in order to get my feet through. The day I used them on the hunt, my rear stayed cold. I actually had to look at my shipping info when I got home, just to see if I had recieved the correct suit. I did infact have the correct suit. NOT a good product."

feet openings were too small,October 8, 2008
By BIGBUCKBOWHUNTERfrom BATTLE CREEK, MI
"I NEVER TRIED IT IN THE FIELD SO I CAN'T RATE THE PERFORMANCE, BUT I TRIED IT ON WHEN IT ARRIVED AT THE HOUSE, AND IT TOOK ALL I HAD TO GET MY FEET THROUGH EACH OPENINGS. ONCE I DID IT WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AROUND THE ANKLES (TOO TIGHT). ORDERED AN XL AND I'M A AVERAGE SIZE GUY. ALSO A SIZE 10 SHOE SO IT'S NOT LIKE I WAS TRYING TO PUT A SIZE 14 FOOT THROUGH IT. OTHER THAN THAT I'M SURE I WOULD HAVE KEPT THE GARMET AND LIKED IT."

ThermaStat Polar-Weight Union Suit,January 7, 2008
By SinInChinafrom Singaporean working in China
"This suit is great wearing under a light fleece and walking about town. My only gripe is the back flap tends to undone easily. Other than than this, I am very satisfied.... can Cabela's consider to make one without the back flap.. as I think some of us might prefer that....."

By CritrGitrfrom Brrrrrrr Michigan
"By far, the warmest and most comfortable underwear I've ever had the pleasure to wear in my 35+ yrs of being a northern Michigan hunter / trapper / fisherman. Many thanks - I'm going to ask for another one for Christmas this year, so I'll have one on always from Nov. through April.. You gotta get one!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Critrgitr..
P.S. My wife wants everyone to know that it washes really well.."

Best Darn Union Suit Ever! Polor-Weight ThermaStat,November 29, 2006
By MontanaIceAnglerfrom Manhattan, MT
"I wore this great union suit at minus ten degress yesterday. With only blue jeans on over the top, one cotton t-shirt, on medium weight fleece jacket and a heavy carhart vest on I was surprisingly warm. I spent several hours outdoors and was ultra pleased with how warm I stayed. I have never had a union suit or any long underwear perform so well. So well in fact, that I am placing an order for two more of them today! Of note, the sleeves contain a thumb hole so that you can slide the cuff of your gloves or mittens over the top of the sleeve and be tucked neatly inside of your gloves or mittens. I see this as a real advantage to those cold days on the ice for preventing the cold air leaks we all battle."
