ThermaStat, a revolutionary lightweight and cottony soft fabric from DuPont, provides more than warmth. Designed with hollow-core fibers that trap insulating air, it will keep you warm, yet it's breathable to prevent overheating during periods of exertion. When you work up a sweat, ThermaStat wicks the moisture away from your skin and dries in a flash, enabling you to endure cold temperatures longer. It's mildew, odor and shrink-resistant. The top has a zipper that runs to the top of the collar in a mock turtleneck style to keep chills out. Zip it down when you need extra ventilation. Extended wrists are constructed half-glove style, with a thumbhole, to keep hands warmer and effectively close out drafts that slip past your gloves or mittens. "I had purchased this same set ( top & bottoms) around 10 years ago. I like them so decided to purchase a extra set. Disappointed in the quality of the new set. The design is the same but the quality ( fabric weigtht and thread count) appear to be less than that which was used in the past. I would not recommend this item for purchase."

"i hunted whitetail deer in nebraska the first week of dec. a couple of days the temp. was in the single digits with a wind of 20 to 35 mph the Thermastat polar-weightzip-top work great and cost several dollars less than some of it other leading brands that cabela's sells. i bought the top and underwear both work great would recimend them to anybody that hunts in extreme weather ."

"This product does everything I wanted it to do. Light weight and kept me very warm while hunting Pheasant's in the Yakima Valley. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was how tight the sleeve was on my hand. I think the idea of the finger hole is good when I'm in my boat but I didn't like it while hunting. The quality of the product is very good. Also, I like the Zip-top feature. In the morning the turtleneck kept the cold off my neck and as the day wore on, I just unzip it to cool me down. Very nice"

"I have never purchased anything from Cabelas that was this poor quality. Because it says "Polar-Weight", I expected something warm, but what I got was something you could see right through! DO NOT buy this product if you are going to be in freezing temperatures."

"I purchased this item prior to a 5 day snowmobile trip to northern Ontario. I knew that it was going to be very cold and I wanted to reduce the layers under my bulky jacket. I couldn't be more pleased with the product. I wore it over a black Cabela's polypropylene base layer and then my lined snowmobile coat. I was perfectly warm down to riding temperatures of minus 14 F. When the temp got into the mid 20's I was still comfortable; no clammy feeling. This product did the job for me and I would highly recommend it to anyone."
