breathes to keep you dry. The ultra-quiet shells are 100% polyester warp knit, 100% waterproof and
breathable Dry-Plus Silent Suede. It has 150-gram Thinsulate™ Insulation in the
body and 100-gram in the hood for warmth without bulk. An adjustable, zip-off, drawstring hood with
beard and chin guard protects against wind, sleet or driven rain. Heavy-duty YKK® zipper with a
snap-down storm flap seals out the elements for hunting comfort in the harshest conditions.
Velcro® adjustable cuffs and an elastic waistband keep out cold drafts. We articulated the sleeves
so you can draw a bow, shoulder a rifle or even use a climbing treestand with ease. The hood, storm
flap, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband ensure comfort no matter how nasty the weather. Imported.

"I bought this jacket as well as the insulated pants to go with it a few seasons ago. I could not be happier with both. The warmth of these two products is unmatched, and they are both extremely affordable even for a college student with a part time job such as myself. The dry plus feature works great!! The jacket and pants are durable and look and feel the same as when i took them out of the box. Only minor detail is when you order either, order a size up but other than that no problems or regrets. I love these hunting clothes and look forward to getting many more seasons out of them."

"I bought one of the 4-in-1 Silent Suede Parkas for my 9 year old daughter last year. She enjoyed hers so much I had to replace my 12 year old Cabela's jacket. The wife and kids bought this for me, with my help, for Father's day. It is too hot to wear now but I did have to put it on in the shower to check out the waterproofing. Well made and I did not get wet where the jacket was. I really like the Open Country camo pattern and can hardly wait the two months for elk and deer season."

"This is the warmest jacket I've ever owned . I'm more than satisfied with it's ability to shed water and stay warm even on a windy cold day. The only downside is the jacket is formless and somewhat confounding to put on easily. Once on and zipped though it is unequaled in warmth."

"This is a great coat. it is very light weight, but very, very warm. It has huge pockets all over for carrying gear. I highly recommend this coat. I have owned three of them in the past 10 years. I wear it every day in the winter and they have all lasted very well."

"I received my Cabela's Dry-Plus® Silent Suede coat a few days before my weeklong hunt this past November. I am 6'4'' and thin and the tall size fit great. The fabric was soft and quiet and had ample storage for a day in the field. The first three days the temp ranged from the 30's up to around 60. I could not have been happier until the morning of day 4 of 5 when the rains came. The dry plus was a great dissapointment! My arms were soaked through as well as my lower back which caused a nice puddle in my seat. With the thinsulate lining soaked, the last two days were auful, cold and damp. If it were not for the lack of waterproofness I would reccommend this jacket to anyone. For the tall person, the only other comperable jacket from Cabelas is the gor-tex whitetail extreme for 2X the price (out of my budget). If you only hunt on sunny days- great coat."

"The Cabelas Silent Suede jacket in Advantage Timber was dingy, yellow, and faded looking when it arrived. I'm exchanging it for the parka.
I ordered the jacket in Advantage Timber to match my bibs that I bought a few years ago. When the jacket arrived, although it was Advantage Timber like my bibs, it looked faded and had a yellowish tint compared to my bibs. It was extremely noticeable. I wanted a matching set and these don't look the same as my bibs. The jacket was significantly lighter, yellower, and more faded than my bibs of the same camo pattern.
If you look at the Silent Suede jacket and the Silent Suede Parka both in Advantage Timber, even on the Cabeleas website the parka looks darker and more vivid. I wish I'd noticed this before I ordered. You would think that the same camo pattern would look the same on the parka and the jacket, but they are actually VERY different.
Other than the faded, yellowish camo, the actual jacket was very nice."

"jacket fit well and was very quiet. I ended up returning it only because I decided on the rutwear midseason jacket. Most of my hunting is in SE so I didn't need quite as much insulation, and I liked the pocket configuration better on the rutwear. overall I have been pleased with my other silent suede products so I'm sure this is a great jacket."

"This is a premium jacket, at an affordable price. The size is accurate, the material, pattern, quietness is excellant. There are plenty of pockets, including a zippered inside pocket for your valuables, and hand warmer pockets are a great feature of this jacket, especially while walking with no gloves on. It has a removable hood, beard protector with velco fastening for around your neck, which keeps your neck totally covered. I bought this jacket for late fall hunting here in Saskatchewan Canada, where the temp. can be from below freezing to just above freezing. This jacket was worn this week ( end of January 2008) when it was - 52 Cellius with the wind chill, and with just a T-shirt underneath, I was very comfortable. Actually if you do a lot of physical work while outside while wearing this jacket, you will sweat. I recommend a Tall if you are long in the arms or body."

"In an effort to get some real warm hunting outerwear I purchased this jacket and matching Bibs. Although they do meet the need for warmth and comfort after wearing the jacket I returned it in favor of the parka. Im 6'2 225 and the jacket waistband kept riding up when sitting. I know its just a personal preference but I am much happier with the comfort of the parka. I would reccomend to all ...Spend the extra few dollars and get the parka. Jim"

"I was satisfied with the jacket. Unfortunatelly I didn't get it on time for my week in the bush. My fault for not ordering it early enough. It worked great sitting in the truck though. It was warm and quiet, I didn't have a chance to test its water proofness (if that's a word). The only reason why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the day after I received it, Cabela's top of the line Jacket came on sale for about the same price that I paid for mine."

"The jacket is excellent. It is very quiet and very warm. I use it mostly when bow hunting and find it very comfortable. I have had no problems when drawing the bow or moving around in the tree stand. The pockets are large. I like to place several things in the pockets and this jacket works well."

"My husband is absolutely thrilled with his new Cabela's Dry-Plus Silent Suede Jacket. He is a tall man of 6'3", and very rarely does he find a jacket with the right length of sleeve. With Cabela's having the tall available, this was just an added bonus to the warmth and comfort he is experiencing with his new jacket!
Although hunting season is coming to a close, I am positive he will continue to wear his new favorite winter coat!
Thanks so much for being there - we are looking forward to planning a trip to one of your stores - from what we have seen on your website and in your catalogue, I am sure this will be a very worthwhile trip!
