Designed with 100% waterproof Dry-Plus laminate, this jacket protects you from moisture and
breathes to keep you dry. The ultra-quiet shells are 100% polyester warp knit, 100% waterproof and
breathable Dry-Plus Silent Suede. It has 150-gram Thinsulate™ Insulation in the
body and 100-gram in the hood for warmth without bulk. An adjustable, zip-off, drawstring hood with
beard and chin guard protects against wind, sleet or driven rain. Heavy-duty YKK® zipper with a
snap-down storm flap seals out the elements for hunting comfort in the harshest conditions.
Velcro® adjustable cuffs and an elastic waistband keep out cold drafts. We articulated the sleeves
so you can draw a bow, shoulder a rifle or even use a climbing treestand with ease. The hood, storm
flap, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband ensure comfort no matter how nasty the weather. Imported.

"I purchased this for this years hunting season and in no way have I been dissapointed. This jacket is very warm and very comfortable, it doesnt feel bulky in any way. I have used it in the rain and it performed very well. In fact the only gripe I would have is that there should be some under arm venting, it can get quite warm when you are exerting yourself. A great Jacket at a great price."

"I normally take an XL Reg, but on receipt found the sleeves too short, had to return and exchange for XL-Tall, then it fit fine.
Very comfortable, easy to move in. Found it too warm for hiking in moderate temps in the 40-45 F. range. Good water/rain repelling, did not soak up any water at all. It is not resistant to open flame, I reached over a camp stove burner flame to get something, and melted a 2" patch of fabric on the sleeve almost instantly. My fault, but expected a little more flame/heat resistance. Keep it away from camp fire sparks."

"I bought the Silent Suede Jacket in '07 for late seasen hunting and general winter wear. I love it and would recomend it to anyone on a budget. It is very warm, waterproof, mostly wind proof, relatively quiet, and although maybe a little bulky for bowhunting, I have no problem with a rifle or shotgun. I also wear this jacket for work in the winter, it has kept me warm and dry in everything from heavy snow to below zero cold. I also love the large hood. My only complaint is that the jacket is a little short, and when I bend over it exposes my lower back. If I had it to do again I might go with the parka. But that is a small gripe and overall this is a great product."

"This jacket is very warm. I wore it a couple times late season bowhunting along with the dry plus silent suede bibs and together they kept me very warm and toasty. I wear them blowing snow and it keeps me so warm I am sweating with only a t shirt on underneath. Excellent quality. Jacket is long so it keeps the wind from blowing up my back."

"The only reason I didn't give this jacket a full 5 stars is the velcro on the hood. The jacket is very warm, and very quiet--unless you want to take the hood off. However, this is not a big enough deal to make me want to return it--it is the best hunting jacket I have owned, and I would definitely recommend it. I am probably just going to take the velcro off and replace it with some type of hook to make it more quiet."

"This is a great coat. I don't hunt much anymore, but I spend alot of time in the woods with my camera. On a 20 degree day I can wear a short sleeve shirt and not feel a puff of wind and be totally warm. No leaks in heavy rain either."

"Used this jacket for first time last season in NY state and it did keep me warm. Detachable hood is a plus, keep in my backpack if weather really gets miserable. Agree with other reviewer that maybe the laminate causes the crinkle noise. Also, if you wear bibs and/or a heavy wool shirt underneath, consider going up one size. Another thing, if you wear a full length blaze vest, it's tough getting to the jacket pockets. All in all though, warmth while spending long hours in a tree stand is what counts to me."
