"Fall 2009 season. I sprayed paper towel pieces and put in bushes. I watched one doe lean up and sniff the paper towel and the next day another doe vectored towards another tree I put some sprayed paper towel. Third time, I attracted a 9 point; it stopped 20 yards from me. All are now venison. I am hooked on this product."

"I'm glad to hear the several of you have had success with this product. I used it last year on a Kansas archery hunt and I feel that it spooked deer away from me. Heres my experience: I was at my stand, opened the product directly from its packaging with rubber gloves. I removed the cap and set the bottle on a stump near a heavily used trail. Later in the evening I watched as two small bucks approached my stand. The six pt. walked down the runway to about 15 yards from the bottle and immediately froze. He was staring directly at the stump when he slowly raised his tail up half way, and then took several steps backwards before turning and trotting off. The other buck was watching him and they both left the area.
Unfortunately humans cannot deterimine whether a bottle is good or bad by the smell. This may have been a bad bottle, or maybe careless handling in the process from the manufacturer to the distributor to the store."

"I can say, this worked. had a six pt walking parallel to my stand about 50yds out. once it caught the scent, he b-lined right for my scent wick located 20yds from my stand. He walked right up, smelled it, and then turned broadside for the perfect shot. first buck in archery, I am very happy. this also brought a doe's curiosity last year, which I took down as well."

"and only a buck could appreciate. This stuff works - just don't get it on your clothes or hands. I used it on scent wicks placed in one of my shooting lanes near a mock-scrape to lure in a 6X7 nontypical. Awesome stuff....but, it's good for only a few days after opening. Good shooting."

"This stuff works great i have not had a mature buck come into my range with this but i have had two spikes sniff at it but do not recomend sniffing the bottles contents as you may get a little green in the face lol but i am pleased with this product and i am going to try it on a good buck i have been watching all season and see if the ole estrous wont bring him in but i do reccomen this to hunters after a scent with that extra edge to bring in that one weary buck"

Wont Use ANYTHING else during the rut,July 26, 2007

"During the 2006 PA Rut I used this as a drag. The key is how you use it.
1: Dont open the bottle till you get out of your truck(dont even take it out of the package) 2: Once you open it, its only good for about 2 days. 3: Wear rubber gloves before you handle it at all and the whole way to the stand. 4: Take a rope and rag and wash it in scent free soap and hang it outside to dry. 5: Walk about 50 yards into the woods, soak the rag and drag for about 100 yards then soak it again. When you get close to your stand do a circle around it, 20 yards out before walking to the tree and hang it up, do not drag to the base of the tree. Take off the rubber gloves and put them in a ziplock and put the ziplock in your pack.
I had a 6pt follow this like it was on a leash at 11am. Dont use this outside the rut or your setting yourself up for failure. IT DOES WORK VERY WELL.
The best thing about code blue is you know someone else hunting your area doesnt have the exact same stuff. What if someone else spooks a big deer then you try to use the same thing? They arent stupid, they will avoid you like the plague."

"I have used Code Blue for several years and I believe that it is not only a good attractant, but also helps conceal human odor. I have not personally had a mature buck come in to Code Blue, but I have had friends who have killed mature bucks that were drawn in to a hanging drag covered with Code Blue."

"I used this during the rut this season. I didn't have a buck come to it, however, a buck did paw the area I applied it during the overnight hours. So, I guess it works, but, I just didn't have any luck during the daylight hours."
