"I live on an Island in the City. We never had deer before, but it seems they are swimming over to the island and now making the island there home. I live in a dense wooded area id say I have at least 40 acres or more of Wetlands/State Land behind me. We seen a few Deer in our yard, mostly non-antler, possibly doe's, or young bucks, the deer are small, but not too small there twice the size of a fawn. I felt being that the winter is near they will need some extra food and vitamin/minerals. I purchased the 30-06 mineral/vitamin and went by the directions, I put the hole maybe 4 feet off the trail they are using, and overnight you could see they had at it. They ate around 15+pounds as I dumped the whole 20lb bag into the hole I dug which was about 6-8inch deep. Being that I did not have a trail camera setup I was curious to know if it was "the deer" eating at the site I just setup. So the following day I just keep an eye out at the "site" to see if there was any traffic. Around 5:18pm I was on the computer by my open sliding glass door I heard a loud branch snap, I turned and looked near the "site" and there was 1 small doe eating the 30-06 then another small doe came into the picture, 2 deer eating the 30-06 in less the 24hrs. Id buy it again and recommend to friends. This product does work. I just threw out another 5lbs so will see how they respond. I also put out a feeder with whole shelled corn, acorn feeder fat and 30-06 and blended it together. Next year I will try food plots. Anyhow if you are looking to purchase this item, do so, it works!!!"

"After reading several reviews and judging by the overall success of Whitetail Institute I decided to purchase the 30-06 supplement. I only put a little bit (2lbs) out around a food block and it was gone almost instantly before they touched the block. The deer have continued to return to the same spot for the food block and keep digging up the place where the 30-06 was. I look forward to using this supplement, the deer clearly are attracted to it and continue to return. I am confident that it will help. It is pricey, so keep an eye out for good deals."

"I have used it for a few years and have noticed that the overall health of the deer is improving. The deer have increased weight and almost all does have twins. I have not noticed a huge increase in rack size, but I believe that the healthier the herd, the better the chance for older deer to survive harsh winters which will lead to more older bucks. i am very pleased."

"This stuff never seems to cease amazing me! I try every year to "hide" this from deer to see how much they love it and without fail within a few days they find it and ravish the area where it is put down. This will be the 5th year using it and I have noticed a significant difference in rack size and overall health of the deer herd. I have witnessed deer come from great distances to get this stuff, and I only put out about a pound every 2-3 weeks! Where ever you put this, don't plan on planting grass as they will dig everything up! Try it you will love it, and so will your deer!"

"I started using this in spring of this year on existing sites where I had used deer cocaine for several years. I have notice quite an increase in activity, both the amount the site has expanded and number of photo's from my digital camera. The main reason to use this is the minerals help the deer with antler development and is also is good for the does and fawns. I don't believe the other product does that. I have another friend that using it and is seeing the same results."

"I have been using this product for about 3 years now. I live in an area where natural mineral availability is low for the deer. They usually are not able to reach their genetic potential in antler growth. I noticed an improvement a couple of years ago. This past hunting season I took a buck scoring 144 0/8. I would have rated the product a 5 star, but I simply have not used it long enough to know for sure. Besides antler growth it provides needed supplements for lactating does."
