    OK germination, October 26, 2009
    By AvidJoe from Dallas, Texas

"I used a blower to rid the areas of leaves and debris. Broke the soil up with a drag harrrow behind a 4 Wheeler. It sprinkled for 5 hours literally the entire afternoon the morning I planted it. Even did soil test. It was 6.7. Received an insane amount of rain in the last 4 weeks. I expected more. And Hey Whitetail Institute, why all the Inert Matter in your seed Blends?? I.e why such a laRge % of Non-identifiable matter? Ray your a pioneer but rid your seeds of all the inert matter!! Please"

    No-Plow seed blend, September 21, 2009
By huntingputz from Westchester & Hamilton counties New York

"I through the seeds down a week and 1/2 ago with zero prep and in a shaded area in southern New York. There has been 1/2 inch of rain since the planting and the clover grass mix is aready 4 inches tall. I also planted the same mix in the Adirondack's two weeks ago. Hopefully when I go up this weekend to place my game camera's. the No-Plow will be growing. So far this product has exceeded my expectation in the growth aspect. If there is a down side. Its because I waited too long to plant it and did not buy enough!!! I will be more prepared in 2010. Happy hunting!"

    no plow, January 25, 2009
    By firewire01267 from Western Mass.

"I planted no plow on some logging roads tis past july. I did do some prep to the roads which included light discing and liming and fertilizing. I was so impressed the way the plants exploded out of the ground. The deer started feeding on some of the plants right away. As my property is in upper New York the season starts in the end of September. The different plants in the no plow allowed the deer to feed on the plots well into November before the plots were buried in snow. I would recommend this product and will be using it in many more applications"

    NO PLOW-GREAT Plannted August 2008, September 19, 2008
    By deerhunterinPA from PA

"I planted this product on August 30, 2008 in three small areas. My brother and I cleared the areas by raking off the top part of the ground, cleared out the weeds and keep some soil in a pile. We seeded the area by hand and cover the area with a thin top of the soil. We did not use any lime or growing products to help the seeds germinate. We simply seen were the sun was hitting the area in the late morning. Here is the kicker, where we planted the seeds there was nothing else growing. Three weeks later the product has grown 3 " high. Looking to see if the deer start to eat the product."

    It's not called No-Plow for No-Reason!, September 4, 2008
By nKosco from New Bern, NC

"I can’t believe how great of a product this is. I planted about two acres of this product and it came up great! Two weeks have passed and my crops are already about shin high. This stuff is great! It’s not called No-Plow for No Reason If you are a hunter who does not have access to any heavy equipment, like myself, No-Plow is the way to go. I am defiantly going to be using this product in the future."

No Plow Really Works, September 1, 2008
By RedBarnAcres from Finger Lakes Area, New York State

"When I bought the no plow last March 2008 ratings were right around 4. One of the reviews was very negative so I only bought a small bag. I checked area of planting and soil was around 6.5 ph. I cleared the area (approx. 60'x80') of the existing grass and weed cover. I worked (loosened) the top layer of dirt with rake. I hand spread the seeds (fairly heavy) in the prepared area. Within five days signs of growth were showing up. Within 3-weeks area was growing very nicely. I do believe one reason why growth was so good was that during this planting (April 2008) weather was very nice (warm) with daily light rain. If there was no rain I probably would have hauld some water to the planting sight. Anyhow it is now Sept. 1, 2008 and I have been watching deer feeding in the plot throughout the summer. If really works!!!"

    Imperial Products, August 8, 2008
    By Higbee from Maine

"Well Cabelas finally opened their store in Maine right next to where I work and my wife can't keep me out of there. I have purchased a number of Imperial products and found that some of them work good in Maine and some don't. The Imperial No-Plow works great. I planted it in the woods where it gets hardly no sun and it was 6" tall in a week and a half. Now that the deer have found it and like it I'm in the process of putting in more food plots, and on my way to Cabelas and buy a new trail camera. Sorry Honey my weekends planed."

No PLOW NO PROBLEM, July 22, 2008
    By cincisfinest from Jamestown, NY

"IF you dont have the fancy and expensive equipment to use with a food plot, this clover grass mix is EXCELLENT. Very hardy and grows excellent. Buy more than you think you will need, i had to purchase three orders of it, so maybe the actual acreage it will cover is not accurate, but the product rocks!"

    NO PLOW/NO DEER, July 15, 2008
By HYJAK from NORTH CENTRAL CT.

"FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS AND THIS STUFF REALLY DOES GROW AND GROW FAST. IT'S 30" HIGH AND FLOWERING. THE DEER WALK THROUGH IT TO GET TO OTHER FOOD SOURCES, WEEDS IN GENERAL, AND THE DEER DON'T TOUCH THE STUFF. I'M GLAD I DID'NT SPEND A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT DOS'NT WORK."

Whitetail Institute Imperial No-Plow Wildlife Seed, June 27, 2008
    By LeeW from Gouverneur, NY

"I like this blend for areas thaty I can not get equipment into for most of year, I cleared the area and tilled it last fall when the weather was dry enough to allow me into the spot.

This spring I used roundup on the area and a few days later put out lime and 10-10-10 on the area. I than broadcasted the seed here, The spot has come up nicely and the deer and turkeys as well as cottontails are using the patch. The weather this spring was much to wet for mr to get in with the tractor to till

whitetail imperial noplow, October 4, 2007
    By Westernpadave from Western Pennsylvania

"We used this product as per the directions on the bag, and do not feel that it germinated properly. Some seed grew and others layed on top of the ground. Ground prep was adequate, and we received moisture after seeding, perhaps the seed was too old, as we did not check the germination dates on bag before discarding."

    By ahtenskid

"I cannot give this product more than three stars due to the fact that I only planted it 2 weeks ago and it just started to germinate. We will see what its like in a month when the deer season starts and the plants should be reaching full maturity. Although I have heard from friends that its works great on bringing in the deer."

    Good Stuff, July 30, 2007
    By GeorgiaNole from Georgia

"I planted a narrow power line with 25 lbs of No-Plow in mid-April and added a small amount of lime and fertilizer. Between the drought and the power company coming in and running everything over to clear limbs out a couple of weeks after I had planted, there was hardly anything there after a month except tire tracks and dirt. Then the rains finally came in June and everything just shot up. It looks great and the deer and turkey are in it every day. The rye grass is doing better than the clovers but that is only because the deer are hitting it as soon as it comes up. I will be planting this every year from now on."

    No-plow Wildlife seed blend, May 30, 2007
By Fosmo from Waconia, Minnesota. Hunt in NW Wisconsin.

"I tried several other seed blends and I have recieved the best results with No-plow. I had a small patch that has been planted for 3 years and this spring I cut it short and pulled a drag over it to expose some of the ground. I fertilized and put down No-plow over the exsiting patch. The rain god's were nice to me and my patch has thick foliage over the whole patch. I have had Turkeys, Deer and Bear feeding in it this spring. I'm going to kill off a new small plot and drag it and put the balance of the No-plow on that spot."
