"I have to give credit where credit is due, this product works. I planted a full acre of this and have had excellent results. The germination was fast and the growth was hardy. This made a gorgeous food plot. I can just stand and stare at how wonderful this stuff looks when done correctly.

I will tell you that you need to prepare your soil correctly and get rid of all existing weeds before planting. Also, fertilize according to your soil test and disc the fertilizer into the ground before you plant this stuff. Then broadcast with a hand spreader or use a Brillion grass seed planter.

If you do everything correctly then this product works well. I planted in the spring and we had a strong green up due to lots of rain, so the deer are nibbling at it, not really working it over hard or anything, but I bet when winter sets in the deer will hammer this plot.

Weather - Cooler and wetter than normal.
Fertilizer - 17-17-17 400lbs per acre.
(You dont need Nitrogen but that was all the feed store had)
Results - Beautiful Food Plot.
Planted in Eastland County Texas - West of Dallas."

"I planted my first food plots four years ago. Two of them were planted in Alfa-rack plus. This product is great the deer have devoured it from its first growth. I have noticed an increase in weight in my deer heard and am starting to see an increase in rack size. As long as I've keep my plots mowed I've had minor problems with weeds. I found that the deer prefer this to the whitetail clover most of the time. I would recommend this and most other Imperial products to others."
