One big downside.,
April 14, 2009
By joe24

"This quiver is pretty functional except for one big flaw. The flap that secures the quiver to your belt is attatched by a little piece of plastic that twists. But this piece often twists as you walk and suddenly the quiver will fall down. This is unexceptable when stalking trophy game."

Not sold on this yet, but........,
March 30, 2009
By KenG

"I am not truly sold on this item yet, but it was more of a necessity that I bought this. I also haven't used it in action yet. I will be checking it out this fall and may raise my thoughts on this, but for now, it's just something I needed, but was not keen on wanting or using. Maybe it will prove me wrong. Nice construction; quality piece of equipment; not overly priced. More to come......."

"Really like this quiver with one exception. The belt loop button doesn't stay fastened. I think it would work better if the button was on the outside instead of against your leg."

"I found this quiver to be made of good materials but not well thought out when it comes to arrow access or replacement after shooting. The angle is so steep that I tweaked my back after the first round on my range trying to replace shot arrows. Aless steeper angle to the quiver would help immensly. Over all an adequate product."

Lost Arrows,

"I agree with the dont bother rating. I lost two arrows out of this thing in the first two trips I used it. Its loud and the snaps are in the wrong spots to make the arrows easily accessible."

"This hip quiver flops around a lot, the tie down is just a shoestring, it would be nice to have an adjustable clip. It would also be nice if it had a curve to it so it would lay better against your hip."

Hip Quiver,
September 24, 2007
By bikingman

"This quiver, seems well made but doesn't fit my needs the arrow holders aren't secure enough and the side quiver is in your way when walking through the woods with arrows becoming dislodged from the quiver. I will purchase one that mounts on my bow next time."

hip quiver,
May 21, 2007
By Alaskaman
from Alaskan Big game guide and fishing guide.

"This is a great product. I needed something that held a lot of ammo for my bow. It is difficult to shoot on the Alaskan tundra at a caribou with arrows hanging from your bow in a 20 or 30 mph wind. This is an ideal item for an archer."

does what it is supposed to,

By advantageWL

"Average hip Quiver. Nothing special. I mean, it's a hip quiver, how hard can it be? I replaced the little string with a strap to hold the bottom to my leg today (the day I unpacked it). The rubber top will hold the arrows fine but overall this is just an inexpensive quiver, no great features but no complaints either."

Great For Being Quiet,
November 29, 2006
By Bowmaker
from Grand Rapids, MI
|
"I ordered the Hip Quiver to keep my arrows secure and quiet. I have used the Hip Quiver on many hunts this fall and am extremely pleased with it. I'm glad this quiver can hold up to six arrows. The options to wear the Hip Quiver for the left or right handed hunter is also an great advantage."

nice quiver,
November 24, 2006
By okiedavid

|
"I got this in order to hunt w/ my recurve.
It is okay when walking through the woods as long as you tie the bottom to your leg like your supposed to.
I did have a slight problem w/ the arrows staying put walking through thick grass or brush. It could just be the arrows were smaller than aluminum but bigger than some carbons.
This problem has not and will not keep me from using it."

By LittlePete81

"The product is very usefull in the stand for keeping arrows out of the way. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it gets in the way if I put it on my hip with my treestand. I fixed the problem by putting it on my treestand which makes it easeir to carry other items. It is very easy to attach to all most anything."

Cabelas Hip Quiver,
November 21, 2006
By DAB66
from Wyoming
|
"I've always used a bow mounted quiver so was a bit skeptical about switching to the hip quiver. Long story short...I was glad to make the switch. I gave the quiver a try during a 3D shoot and became a quick fan. The quiver kept my arrows out the the way yet easily accessible for quick shots."
