"Purchased the wrench while on an elk hunting trip. While I thought that having a wrench on the sharpener was a great idea, I found that the sharpener really did not put an edge sharp enough to satisfy me on my broadheads. OK for an emergency touch up in the field, but not really what I was looking for."

"I'm completely impressed with this little gadget! I bought it to use up a few dollars left on credit to use for my broadheads. Since they claimed it would sharpen knives, I tried it on mine (which I've always prided myself on doin' it the old fashioned way with a wetrock). In just a few strokes I got my favorite skinner sharp enough to shave my arm. That's as close as you'll get to "razor sharp" on anything wider than a razor. It's handy enough to keep at the skinning rack to touch up the edge when I'm fleshing out a deer. I also sharpened my wife and mother-in-laws' kitchen knives with it. I'd definitely recommend it and would buy another, if I can't find replacement carbide blades for it."

"i got this sharpener because my brother was shooting my broadheads into haybails and it dulled them alot. i got it because it was cheep. it is a good sharpener but the only donw side to it is that it takes alot of the metal off. it works good and it has a wrench. i also use it on my knifes."

"This is a great tool for in the field or in camp. It does put a good edge on the blades but it also removes a fair amount of metal doing so. I sharpen all my broadheads by hand in the preseason and use the wrench for touch-ups when I am away for long hunting trips. It is compact and handy to use when I am on a camping trip."

"Seems to make the blades sharp fast, but not "razor" sharp...it removes a LOT of material and I would not recommend it to use it often...more like for field work where you need a sharp edge fast...
I finish the blades with a steel and makes the edge much more smoother.
The wrench works fine but its easy to overtighten the broadheads."
